This MOD reduces the burning duration of wreckage. If you don't like this change, you can check out my other MOD "Blastcore Murr Edition(TT Version)(Longer wreckage burning duration)".


As I understand it, common explosion effect mods like "Blastcore Murr Edition," "Blastcore Edited (standalone version)," or even the game's original explosion effects often use the same explosion effect for 250lb, 500lb, 1000lb bombs, and 230mm rockets, and then use another explosion effect for 2000lb bombs or larger munitions. This approach feels awkward for a game like Arma 3, which is renowned for its realism.

So,

The purpose of this MOD is to differentiate the explosion effects for 250lb、500lb、1000lb、2000lb 、MOAB(21,600lb) bombs. Specifically, I have improved 5 explosion effects based on the "Blastcore Murr Edition" MOD, each corresponding to these four weight classes of bombs, missiles, and rockets (details of what was modified are explained below).

No other mods are needed, as this MOD is fully compatible with CUP, RHS, and FIR AWS (AirWeaponSystem) (I have specifically adapted it for these mods).



⚠️ Important Notice ⚠️ This MOD cannot be used alongside common explosion effect mods like "Blastcore Murr Edition," "Blastcore Edited (standalone version)," "ArmaFXP," or "Aaren's Blast Effects." It must be installed independently.

Changelog for v1.8 version(2025.04.05 01:03)

In the latest v1.8 version of this mod, new features have been added, including a new class called class TT_GBU43 in the CfgAmmo category. The class TT_GBU43 bomb has been enhanced with new explosion effects and sound effects, which are currently exclusive to the class TT_GBU43 bomb.

The class TT_GBU43 ammunition does not conflict with the class USAF_GBU43 bomb from the "USAF Mod - Main." These are two distinct types of ammunition: the class USAF_GBU43 bomb uses its own explosion effects, while the class TT_GBU43 bomb utilizes the explosion effects I designed. Therefore, this mod is compatible with the "USAF Mod - Main" mod and can be used together without any conflicts.

Currently, the TT_GBU43 bomb can only be mounted on the CUP's A-10 and the original game's A-164 aircraft. (It might work with other MOD aircraft, but I haven’t tested them yet.)

A work around is deleting several PBOs locally to join the server.

Hey so for some reason, hosting this mod on a linux ds with verify keys doesn't allow users to connect. I followed the usual steps of lowercasing the file names and the server does load the mod, but for whatever reason players continue to get a "Missing keys" alert before being kicked. Is there any way to get this working without disabling verify keys?

Try Blastcore Murr Edition (TT Version) with Photon VFX + Photon VFX Smoke, I'm seeing great results with those mods! Also, you can try ACE 3 + Photon VFX + Photon VFX Smoke (without any Blastcore) if you like "cook off" and other realism features.

(HopeCore isn't compatible)

this doesnt seem to work alongside HopeCore is there a reason for that? When i have HopeCore v4.2 enabled i get a circular dependency error and my arma crashes.

I've been testing a mission (with your mod + the longer smoke patch) and have seen some fantastic looking results! One thing I noticed is there's no force/velocity being applied to vehicles and the lethality to infantry is very short range. Are these by design? Not an experienced coder myself, but would love to collaborate on a patch to add physics...

Yo, i got something strange.. When i drop the MOAB instead of that crazy explosion it's just a square full of particles and explosions. Is it from any mod that confilct with it? i don't have any of Blastcore Edited (standalone version),ArmaFXP, or Aaren's Blast Effects. Any help?

I fully support you here. The HE explosions in standalone were more noticeable, while in Murr Edition they are small and rven not stable. Sometimes I see a barely noticeable (small) explosion, and sometimes it seems to be bigger. as if the effects are random. It would be great to always see a big explosion at HE
