Description
The O-13 Kestrel is a VTOL capable tilt-jet transport type aircraft. The Kestrel features a rather conventional engine tilting mechanism that provides high stability in both hover and conventional flight. The engines can rotate forward 90 degrees and backwards to -5 degrees, allowing for a quick slowdown, and even backwards flight with a little finesse. It has a rather detailed cockpit that shows throttle and engine nacelle position. The hover control systems automatically shut off when the aircraft reaches 100mph, allowing the control surfaces to fully take control. This makes it fairly easy to control, though transitions from hover to forward flight and back may take some practice. The nacelles can be rotated forward slightly to allow for slower, hover assisted forward flight and can be fully rotated forward for high speed, conventional, fixed-wing flight. The design is mostly original, but features a cockpit taken from a French helicopter. Design cues were taken from similar aircraft like the V-22 Osprey.

I really hope you like it! If you do, give it a like!
