"After being withdrawn, No. 45015 was donated to the Battlefield Line Railway and was stored in a siding at Shackerstone in 2002 and was left there neglected for decades. Due to its poor condition from being overgrown and infested with asbestos, algae and lichen, it was deemed unrestorable and was scrapped in November 2021."
