How to Get Grox Parts in the Creature Creator

This guide will teach you how to get the Grox Parts in the Creature Creator, allowing you to create even more types of creatures! Sadly it's not shareable, but it's still cool.

Why?

Grox Parts are impossible to access, as only the Grox are supposed to use them. This mod allows you to add Grox Parts directly into the Creature Creator, letting you create truly unique creatures.

Sadly, these parts are not shareable on the Spore servers, but you can still make some cool creatures.

Downloading the Mod

There are multiple mods that do this, and are available for download. Most of them require ModAPI Launcher Kit and, therefore, Galactic Adventures. Because of this, this guide will focus on a single mod, that is compatible with any version of Spore and doesn't require any additional software.

Adding it to the Game

After downloading the mod, you'll need to add it to Spore. First, locate your Spore folder:

• Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Spore\
  
• GOG: C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Spore\ or C:\gog games\Spore\
  
• EA app: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Spore\

Spore folder location may vary from what's stated here, as some of these launchers allow switching the installation path.

If your version of Spore isn't listed here, try searching online for how to find it.

If you have Galactic Adventures, I'd recommend going into the DataEP1 folder, but if you have the base game only, go for the Data folder (both should be inside the Spore folder). Now, just copy the .package file inside the folder you chose.

Now, feel free to create creatures using these parts that were not supposed to be usable.
