Alt+tab fix CS2

If you play streched res on cs2 you´re probably tired of having to wait 2-3 seconds to alt+tab in n out of the game and sometimes having to restart the entire game because it bugs out and doesnt let you alt+tab back in.
Here is a simple fix for that!

Opening the local files

First we are going to browse the local files of CS2 in our computer.

• Right click on CS2
  
• Click Manage
  
• Click browse local files

Where to go once you have the files

Once it opens, look at the top bar and click on the second "Steam" tab.




If you clicked on the right one, you should see a bunch of files.
Click on the one called "userdata"




Once you´re in the "userdata" file you will see some files with different numbers.
Each file is for each account you have linked to your steam currently
(I have 3 files because I have 3 accounts linked to my steam app).









To find which one is linked to your account, you need to find your steamID32

How to find your steamID32

The fastest way to find your steamid32 is to go to steamid.io (not sponsored) and log in with your steam account: https://steamid.io/

Where to go once you got your steamID32

Once you have your steamID32 and clicked on the corresponding file,
click on the following files in order:

• "730"
  
• "local"
  
• "cfg"

Final step

Once you are on the "cfg" file, you need to open the "cs2_video.text" document.

With the document open you need to look for the following line of text:
"setting.fullscreen_min_on_focus_loss"
Once you find it, simply change the 1 to a 0.


Save the file and before finishing open the properties of the document and change it to
"read only" so the game isn´t able to change this value

All done!

If you did everything right, you should now be able to alt+tab comfortably without fear.
