Return to Ravenholm: Unwelcome Company

This is the first map (Unwelcome Company) from the canceled half life game, "Return to Ravenholm" or "Half Life 2: Episode 4" from Arkane Studios.

This took way too long, and after 18 years from the cancel date, the fans of the series can have a taste of the fun we all want.

I used footage from Noclip's documentary of the somewhat left version of the game. Many people want their hands on it and have a go. So here it is! Use the Return to Ravenholm SNPCS! There should be navs for SNPCs/VJ Base.

I was planning on making a story map using models from the SNPCs but it would take a very long time because the audio is very distorted from the music in the documentary.

There are some places where there are nothing there such as the dead body in one of the rooms, the debris in the middle of the hallway and some more. The reason is I want to make the map more easier to navigate. Not to mention players can spawn props there and make a save.

After Gordon Freeman entered and destroyed Nova Prospekt and went into the one week long teleport. Adrian Shepherd was revived by G-Man for an unknown reason. Probably because G-Man probably thought that Gordon Freeman and Alyx had died within the explosion.

Corporal Shepherd before the game presumably already met Grigori for a couple of days by how Father Grigori interacted with the player because there were no introductions at all. At the start of the game, Grigori did small exchanges of about a serum that can cure the disease from the headcrabs or a severe "infection" from taking samples from headcrabs, probably their hearts.

It was revealed at the end of the game that the serum was a failure and that he only infected himself and became a mutant from the amount of serum he injected to himself.

It was also presumed that Father Grigori created the new zombies without a headcrab for experimentation. Too bad we will never know because the plot, and some part of the maps such as the ending were cut. Sorry If i got some hints wrong because most of this is speculation from the community and little detail from the developers and writers which we recieved from noclip's documentary.


This map isn't 100% accurate to the original footage. And there are some parts of the map that weren't finish in the clip, so I had to make an idea of what it could look like.
