Description
THIS MOD REQUIRES MY "EXPANDED CULTURAL TWEAKS" MOD TO FUNCTION AS INTENDED
Much like Nye, I found it odd that some guy roaming the backwoods of Macedonia can raise an army larger than the local duke's.
In a different approach, I still like the potential for powerful troops becoming characters in their own right. I also made sure to not block Landless adventurers from accessing regular regiment troops, you just need to use a patron to raise them.
This Mod in Brief:
- Landless Adventurers (LAAMPs) can only independently recruit unique, incredibly slimmed down MAA Types
(I'm horrible at balancing stats; in my testing they absolutely ripped with decently powerful knights in tow)
- LAAMPs are given a new Character Interactions to request a specific type of regiment from their patron (Which is weighted towards cultural troops before standard ones, bye bye Heavy Infantry number 500!)
- "Recruit From Retinue" decision to give LAAMPs a more convenient way to generate characters for their camp
