One of the BEST new game plus builds

This build is more on the glass cannon side, as its armor is a teir 1 light armor, but in this guide i will also give examples on how to fix this

Overview

Summon Thorns is a very powerful build. with its only downside is against normal bugs, and the fact its teir 1 light armor, in this guide i will show what my progression was using this build so you can follow along

New Game +1

In new game plus one, thats when this build really starts off, its usable before ng+1 but i find no reason for it to be used then, as just running good weapons and tanky armor will suffice, ng+ is a completely different story though, first off, started by killing 3 broodmothers, this took a little bit given i was bad and ng+1 is hard at first you then save the game, and loot all 3, check what stats are on the science waffle, then reset if theres no summon thorns, this is what i had gotten:
as for the rest of the build, you should be rocking full sleek red ant queen armor, which requires you to kill red and queen, fireant shield, and widow dagger for its attackspeed, lastly, id recomend having the black ant pet for its damage reduction, to try to offset your little defense mutations wise only 2 are super important, with 1 being good for some boss fights, the 2 important ones being: mom genes and mant-sterious stranger, spicy saftey is really good if your fighting broodmother, mant, or infected broodmother, since it halves the damage taken from some of their attacks,and thats your newgame+1 build

Past newgame+1

once you pass new game +1, not very many upgrades happen until ng+4, but once i hit newgame+2 broodmother drops science cones now, so i used that to get a science cone with some other perks that are at least half useful, after that i just did the normal grinding until newgame +4, which at this point i have stored over 150k raw science, so i could afford some telepottys and be able to dupe the broodmother summon 50 times, before that thought i fought her a few times to get an infused weapon with lootluck, and i already had a trinket that gave loot luck, once you get these things, you can get your final upgrades easily, i did this by first killing her 50 times , then after i used handy gnat to build an area under her arena, which can be done by flying through the top of her arena, under it theres a root you can anchor buildings too, and by relocating a telepotty with the gnat you can make this , with that just equip your lootluck items, rub a stuffed broodmother, and put on dissection expert and loot while spamming hot deposit, after you teleport down there check if you get anything good if not reset to a save from right before you looted, using that i got my current gear set im still using, the science cone isnt perfect, it only had 2 of the things i wanted but i took it anyways, at this point shield is personal preference, with the infected ant shield becoming more and more viable as you get into deeper newgames where every boss has an explosive mutation, but i still rock fireant due to its cheap repair cost

i forgot to mention, for the javamatic, i would usually just use a sour battle axe instead of a dagger, as its damage is better for it
