Mario Kart Wii - Small SCars and Props (REUPLOAD)

This is addon not mine. I am just uploading this to the Steam Workshop for preservation, as this was originally available for use in Garry's Mod for a short while, but was removed following the DMCA takedown fiasco in 2024. Also, I would like for anyone who plays GMod to enjoy using this addon. All credit goes to the original author, BabyLuigiOnFire, for creating the original addon. However, if they want me to remove this mod, I will respectfully comply.

However, if this gets removed through another false flagging, I'll just reupload it again. The 2024 DMCA purge may have affected me and lots of other GMod creators, but we are not alone, and we are not giving up. I refuse to be silenced like the others who have been as they try to express their feelings and concerns about it. And I will not let this community down. I stand with other creators who want to do something about this, and I want to contribute to the revival efforts. Alright, enough of my rambling.

Anyway I thought to make this add-on some time ago, when I had this idea to port some of the small karts from Mario Kart Wii into Garry's Mod, after seeing RatchetMario and Matchy's contributions to the workshop concerning Mario Kart Wii's Scars. Then I realized, hey, why not turn them into Scars too? It won't be too tough. All I need to do is decompile their add-on, figure how it works, then port these to Garry's Mod! And that's exactly what I did, after three days of nonstop toiling around and getting these to work properly for Gmod.

Props are included for anyone who has trouble getting SCars to work properly, and eases posing.

FAQ
Q: How do I download this?
A: Click on the big green "Suscribe" button. The add-on should start downloading the next time you boot up Garry's Mod.

Q: Why doesn't this work!?!? Why can't I drive on this??
A: It's because you haven't downloaded Scars Slim. You have to suscribe to Scars Slim in order for it to work properly. If you have problems related to the Scars Slim add-on, chances are you'll likely have problems with this add-on. Consult the FAQ for SCars Slim if you happen to have problems with the Scars add-on in general.

Q: How do I spawn a car?/How do I enter it?/How do I turn on headlights?/How do I honk? etc. etc.
A: The page where you download SCars Slim has all the general info you need about how to manage and drive your SCars.

Q: Why does my character's legs go through the kart?
A: It's because the karts are built specifically for small, short characters like, y'know, Baby Luigi. It's only an aesthetic issue, you should be able to drive normally.

Q: Why are some karts unstable?
A: Because some karts are unconventional by normal car standards. I have tested the Booster Seat and Blue Falcon to be not very stable, since the former has a wonky build and the latter has only three tires.

Q: How do I change the colors of the wheels!?
A: Hold C, right click on the tire itself, then select the Skins and choose the color of your choice. Or you can use Easy Bodygroup Tool to ease things up a bit. You can also change the paintjobs either by changing bodygroups or using the Paint Job Switcher built in Scars Slim.

Q: Can you open the Booster Seat?
A: Yes you can! Use your bone editor of choice, such as Advanced Bone Tool to open it up. The Cheep Charger's fins can be moved this way.

Q: Will you make Scars for the Small Bikes too?
A: Maybe. I'm not a fan of how your player model animates on bikes as Scars are built specifically for cars and other vehicles like them.

Q: Will you make other Mario Kart Wii Karts? Maybe karts from the other Mario Karts as well?
Possibly. And yes, I do would like to port karts from other Mario Karts. As long as they have their models available and ready to use at ease, it's a distinct possibility.

Q: Will you make X?
A: You'll be lucky if it even makes it in the workshop. I can't do everything, I'm not superhuman. I have other things to do too of course. I do like suggestions in case my creativity runs dry.

Q: What about other requests you said you'll consider?
A: I'm not obliged to make them. I just said I may consider, it doesn't guarantee I will make them.

Q: Can I make spam comments here?
A: No, and I will delete them so don't waste your stroke here.

Q: Do I have your permission to use this?
A: You have my permission to modify and make a deriative of my work for private use. If you plan to release your own version of my work on the workshop, YOU HAVE TO GIVE CREDIT TO ME. Because c'mon man, it was a pain in the ass to remap some of the wonked up UVs the karts and other things.....
