100% Completion - Collation of Solutions
作者: Deiru
A collation of solutions to all levels of ABI-DOS that should let you get all achievements in the game. Not all solutions will be optimal or fulfill the challenges, as not all challenges are required for 100% achievements.

This is a little different than how I normally do guides, in that many of the solutions will not have been made by me solely. I want to be 100% clear and upfront about that - I am publishing this guide as a collation of these solutions, and linking to where I found the solution and crediting the person who initially posted it.

If a solution is not credited to anyone - you can assume it is my own work. I will always include credits or links to the source for any solution that is not mine. All screenshots however, are my own - in order to get a consistent quality throughout.
Using This Guide
This is not a simple game. You will require a basic understanding of how this game works to recreate any of the solutions posted in this guide. It is heavily encouraged that you read the Quick Reference Manual for the game and familiarise yourself with the controls mentioned on its final page.

I also just want to clarify - In most cases, there are better solutions to these levels. You are free to use them. I'm only providing some possible solutions to the levels for those who want the achievements. Not all levels have their challenge mode completed in this guide - those that do have the off-white outline still in the screenshot. I have no real interest in optimising every solution in this guide any further.

Some points that require special attention:
T-Junction Priority

Compare the left icon on the grid to the right one. Take note of the small marker on the top-left corner. This indicates that the underlying T-Junction in the wire has been inverted by doubleclicking it in paint mode. You learn about this on Page 15 of the manual. If this is in the guide's solution - it is likely that you need it in your solution. These are easy to miss so pay attention and check for these first if the solution isn't working as expected in-game.

Commonly Confused Symbols

These icons look alike - but function very very differently. If you're having issues with your solution in-game, zoom in on the solution. Check you've used the right symbols.

Active/Inactive/Semiactive

The top row are all icons in their active state. The bottom, their semi-active or inactive state. This is extremely important to the function of any circuit. To switch a port to its semiactive state, right-click it. To switch any other icon to its inactive state, doubleclick it. If you are confused where the starting symbols/ports are on a solution - check to see if they are set as semiactive.

Hidden - Minority Reporter
This level is hidden by default. To access it, click the "Eject Floppy Disk" button. This should cause the triangular symbol to display in place of the level select. You can now start any of the save files via the controls on the top right.

If you are struggling to find the button - it is the one below the level select, below the "I" in "ABI-DOS", just right of the little light, and above the numbers that replay the game's story dialogue.

Now you've just got to figure out what the level wants...Looking at your in/out table on the right, and bearing in mind the name of the level, You can figure out what it wants. The inputs are always going to be a sequence of 5 "blocks". At most, 2 of these will be different. If any are different, report their position alphabetically (i.e. A for S0, B for S1...) to S5 and S6. You are literally "reporting" where the "minority" is in the provided blocks, hence - Minority Reporter.
