Broken radar CS2 on resolution 1080x1080

The guide will help those who started or want to continue playing at 1080x1080 resolution, but are not satisfied with radar bugs and other errors of this resolution.

Solving the problem

To begin with, there is no one-time solution to this problem, but if you still want to play at this resolution, you will have to do the following:

1. Make it so that when you enter the game it automatically launches at the resolution of your monitor.
(In CS2 properties, specify your resolution. I have this: -w 1920 -h 1080).

2. After starting the game, you need to go to any map: “Competitive mode”, “Community maps”, “Practice mode”, etc.
(In my case I just run the practice mode).

3. By going into any map or server, you can now open the settings and change them.
(resolution, hz, aspect ratio).

YOU CAN CHANGE THE RESOLUTION ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE LOGGED IN TO THE SERVER!

After these procedures, your radar will work correctly. The second and third steps, unfortunately, will have to be performed every time you decide to play. Searching the Internet, I did not find any other solutions to this problem. Perhaps in the future they will appear, and it will become easier for us to play, but for now we have what we have. For those who didn’t really understand me, below I will provide a more detailed video guide on what and how to do.
