Covenant Items Farm [2025]
By C8 | Ravenhart
A comprehensive guide to min/maxing your covenant item farms, streamlining each step for maximum efficiency.

There are 9 covenants in total, 6 of which are essential for 100% completion, as you need the rings and spells they grant at specific levels.
Out of the 6 required covenants, 3 can be easily completed in co-op using the Red Sign Soapstone. The other 3 must be done through the intended method or by farming, both of which I will explain in detail below.

If you choose to farm the required items, make sure to refer to the "Items, Numbers, and Stats" tab to optimize your chances of getting multiple item drops.

Keep in mind the items required to progress covenant levels can NOT be traded between players!

PS: The covenants marked with * can not be cheesed.
PS 2: As a last resort, if you're not up for grinding for the achievements, you can use the Honest Merchant mod[www.nexusmods.com] to obtain the required spells and rings. However, I strongly advise against this, Since it defeats the whole purpose.

Cheese Method
As mentioned earlier, 3 covenants can be cheesed: Warrior of Sunlight, Rosaria's Fingers and Mound-Makers.

To cheese these covenants, simply pledge to one of them and use the Red Sign Soapstone to invade your friend or players you find via the discussion tab. The host just needs to kill themselves, and you’ll receive the related item.

There are many people in the discussions tab whom are actively helping people as of now.

Warrior of Sunlight
Intended Method
৹ While pledged to the Warrior of Sunlight covenant, you receive Sunlight Medals by helping other players defeat the area boss. The player you join as a phantom will also receive a medal.

Farm Method (2%)
৹ From the Lothric Castle bonfire, you should immediately spot a Lothric Knight walking into a doorway. Simply kill the Lothric Knight and sit at the bonfire to refresh. Repeat this process as many times as needed.

You need a total of 30 Sunlight Medals to receive both required items: Sacred Oath and Great Lightning Spear.

Rosaria's Fingers
Intended Method
৹ While pledged to the Rosaria's Fingers covenant or being covenantless, you will receive a Pale Tongue after invading and killing the host.

Farm Method (5%)
৹ One of the best ways to farm Pale Tongues is by defeating the 2 Darkwraiths you encounter when leaving the Farron Keep Perimeter bonfire. You can kill them directly or let them be weakened and killed by the Ghrus. Keep in mind that you can also double this method to farm Wolf's Blood Swordgrass, which is required for the Watchdogs of Farron covenant.

You need a total of 10 Pale Tongues to receive the required item: Obscuring Ring.

Mound-Maker
Intended Method
৹ While pledged to the Mound-Maker covenant, you will receive a Vertebra Shackle after invading and killing the host or enough phantoms.

Farm Method (2%)
৹ Head to the Catacombs of Carthus bonfire, run past the rolling skeleton ball, and kill the two Gravewarden skeletons. You can also lure them into the path of the ball and refresh at the bonfire.

You need a total of 30 Vertebra Shackle to receive the required item: Warmth.

* Aldrich Faithful
Intended Method
৹ While pledged to the Aldrich Faithful, you will automatically invade players as long as you have the Insignia equipped and the icon is flashing. You will receive a Human Dreg for each player you defeat.

Farm Method (1.5%)
৹ The easiest way to obtain these is by taking the elevator up from the Pontiff Sulyvahn bonfire, where you'll find nine Devout of the Deep along the courtyard overlook.

You need a total of 10 Human Dregs to receive the required item: Great Deep Soul.

* Watchdogs of Farron
Intended Method
৹ While pledged to the Watchdogs of Farron, you will automatically invade players as long as you have the Insignia equipped and the icon is flashing. You will receive a Wolf's Blood Swordgrass for each player you defeat.

Farm Method (1.2%)
৹ Simply head to the Keep Ruins bonfire and kill the 3 Ghrus on the bridge. You can also get them from the 9 Ghrus fighting the two Darkwraiths near the Farron Keep Perimeter bonfire to also farm Pale Tongues.

You need a total of 30 Wolf's Blood Swordgrass to receive the required item: Wolf Ring.

* Blue Sentinels / Blades of the Darkmoon
Intended Method
৹ While pledged to either the Blue Sentinels or Blades of the Darkmoon covenants, you will be automatically summoned to defend players pledged to the Way of Blue. Defeating invaders will reward you with Proof of a Concord Kept. Keep in mind that killing Aldrich Faithful invaders as a Blade of the Darkmoon will award you with Proof of a Concord Well Kept, which counts as 2.

Farm Method (1%)
৹ From the Anor Londo Bonfire, you can farm the 2 Silver Knights walking down the stairs and ignore the red one on top, as killing it will slow down your overall kills per minute. unless you have a one-shot build ready to go.

You need a total of 30 Proof of a Concord Kept to receive both required items: Darkmoon Ring and Darkmoon Blade.

Items, Numbers and Stats
Leveling up Luck permanently boosts Item Discovery by 1 point per Luck point. However, maxing out Luck isn't essential, as you can reach 400 Item Discovery which is enough, with the items listed below, and you start with a base of 100 Item Discovery.

Best combo would be to use Covetous Gold Serpent Ring +2, Symbol of Avarice, Crystal Sage's Rapier and Rusted Coin for a total of 400 Item Discovery.

Keep in mind that you don't need to have the Crystal Sage's Rapier equipped; you can simply two-hand your main weapon and still enjoy the bonus item discovery.

If you'd like to know more about how item discovery affects item drops, click here[darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com], as I won’t be covering the details in this guide.

also, killing an aldrich faithful who invaded via the covenant as a blue spirit DOES NOT give you a proof of concord well kept, but killing one who invaded via red eye orb does. i have no idea why, it is very annoying

also, great chaos fire orb is GREAT for clearing out the ghrus next to farron keep bonfire for farming swordgrass

also, for warriors of sunlight and mound makers, if you are about level 100 ish the best place to invade is right next to the mausoleum lookout bonfire (at least for me), tons of people embered up after demon prince, and the judicator makes quick kills really easy if the host is dumb/ is you play well and force them where you want them

trying to get the items via pvp for watchdogs is hell, especially at high levels, bc every time i get summoned its either a gank or a host trying to force me into a 1v1 with a red and using hacks to stop me from using black crystal. at least farming offline for blades isnt THAT bad

Tbh yeah, but would add that they are only more annoying compared to the knights.

watchdogs of farron are worse than darkmoon blades imo
