LORE: The Mb-07 Cutlass was a twin-engine prop fighter produced by the Metalburg Bureau before the age of jet engines, and was a successor to the Mb-05 Peregrin. Unlike its predecessor, the Cutlass did see a lot of combat, mainly against the Vegan Kingdom of Viridis. The Viridians had an uneasy relationship with the Metalburguese because of historical bad blood between the two nations (and also because in their subconsciousness, Metalburg's name was associated with the heretic concept of hamburgers). However, they could never cut diplomatic ties with Metalburg because of how important the Luckyman's Iron was for the production of Power Cores. That changed when the Metalburguese Navy was hired to attack them, and Viridis started to research alternative materials to mimic the weird properties of Luckyman's Iron. Although it could never match the Luckyman's Iron's excellence, the ensuing replacement, the Greenman's Iron, was a significant factor in Metalburg's economic decline decades later.
