How to Get Every Horse in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Birch – Complete the main story mission "Battle of Wan" and speak to a merchant near Wan City.
Chestnut – Increase the Peace level in the Central Plains region to maximum and interact with the fast travel waypoint.
Mahogany – Raise the Peace level in the Jiangdong region to its peak and visit the local waypoint.
Maple – Achieve maximum Peace in the Hebei region and check the corresponding waypoint.
Walnut – Maximize Peace in the Xiliang region and approach the area's waypoint.

Special Horses

Hex Mark – Complete the Battle of Chibi in Liu Bei's storyline, on Ultimate Warrior Difficulty, while ensuring at least six allied officers survive—but with an added challenge: personally defeat Zhou Yu before the fire attack begins.
Storm Runner –Complete the final mission in Cao Cao's storyline, the Battle of Huarong Pass, on Ultimate Warrior Difficulty, ensuring that at least seven allied officers survive—but with an added challenge: defeat all enemy officers personally before escaping.
Shadow Runner – To obtain Shadow Runner, you must prevent the enemy's stone barrage by swiftly defeating Zhang Xian during the Escape from Wan Castle battle in Chapter 4 of Cao Cao's storyline.
Red Hare – Defeat Lu Bu during the "Battle of Hulao Gate" on the hardest difficulty without picking up any health recovery items or using consumables. Meeting these conditions will unlock Red Hare as a reward.
