I've perfected THE fastest Saviour Schnapps Recipe. Yields 3 strong quality Saviour Schnapps every time

A very quick and dirty guide on THE fastest, most optimal way to brew perfect Saviour Schnapps potions so you can spend more time playing and less time struggling with KCD's most controversial game mechanic.

INTRO

I just spent the past hour in Troskowitz crafting Savior Schnapps for the long journey ahead and think I found the most efficient method of brewing. No perks required

Find the Alchemist shop in town and there is a free bench you can use in the shack to the right of the shop.

Nettle is easy to find around the village, but belladonna is hard to find so make sure to buy it from the shop. Sell any herbs you find around town so you can afford to buy the belladonna

THE RECIPE

1. Pour Wine

2. Add 1 Nettle to Cauldron

3. Lower Cauldron over fire

4. Pump the bellows 5 times OPTIONAL

5. While Nettle is boiling, grind up 2 Belladonna with mortar and Pestle

6. Add grounded Belladonna to the Cauldron

7. Flip the sandglass once IMPORTANT

8. Raise the Cauldron, almost immediately

9. Use Phial to collect

Final Notes

It seems insignificant, but #7 is the most important step.

You don't need to wait for the whole glass to finish, but the extra few seconds animation is just the right amount of time for the belladonna to boil.

If you skip this step, you will likely only end up with regular quality Savior Schnapps

Apparently you don't even need to pull the bellows at all. You can just grind the belladonna as soon as you lower the cauldron and the Nettle will boil on it's own.

If you've done the recipe right, it should net you 3 Strong Savior Schnapps (4 if you have the Secret of Matter perk)

theres like 50 mint outside the troskowitz apothecary for free every day or two

Make lion perfume by buying mint and picking the sage. Mint is very cheap and there's an abundant of sage all around. Each bottle of lion perfume can afford you a lot of belladonas from the apothecarist. There's actually a few mints in the Bozenka garden so you can actually brew a few lion perfume and have enough to sell to the apothecarist even before getting to Troskowitz.

There are Belladonnas right in the herb garden of Bozenka...There's also nettles in and around the Bozenka hut. You can in fact brew this right at the hut if you know the recipe. Also, time appears to advance slowly or not at all during this interregnum.
After the hut, there are Belladonas near the six pigs on the southeast side of butcher in Troskowitz and plenty more in the forested area in and round the stream and the so call lover's area.
The only herb that you can't pick in Troskowitz is Henbane, Herb Paris, and Feverfew...I think? The rest can be found in a good amount as well as bought from the apothecarist.

I only used 1 belladonna and got 2 Strong Savior Schnapps. So, if you accidentally took Secret of Equilibrium it's not a problem.

That's cool. I just got a mod on Nexus that let's you save the game whenever you like. The ONLY issue I have with the game is that they kept that savior schnapps crap again. This game is too big to not let us just save when we want. It doesn't respect our time.
