This work is not allowed to compress the maps by whoever is doing it, and no private compression mods are allowed without any licenses。
Simple compression doesn't prevent crashes. So I'm not going to come out with a compressed version

@kb Damn, no wonder everytime when I load into a game, the loading bar quits halfway, before crashing my game completely? That is why I try my best to not go full out w/mods like other people here do. Besides I was going to get this rifle, but seeing the file size?

they quite literally do prevent crashes lmao. when you get around 3.1 gb in ur addons folder you will start experience crashing. compressed mod sizes reduce the amount of gb in use, therefore preventing crashes.

for some people's informations,
the main thing that mostly cause crash is the high poly "world model"
as the author said, texture/materials compression doesn't prevent crashes in most cases.
it only gives you a little better fps and shorter loading depending on your computer and that's all.
