Description
Adds 7 new characters with unique mechanics and unlocks (38 new Items, 7 Trinkets, 9 cards and a machine)

Character unlocks can be toggled to be always ulocked in the built-in mod menu, if you just want to play with new items.

Fully supports External Item Descriptions.

V 0.41.3 changes:

Rebalanced sacred altars, fixed several altar-related bugs.
Sigils now drop from secret room shopkeepers while playing Eve.
Removed unfinished items added in the last patch

V 0.41.2 changes:

Varios minor balance changes, sprite changes and bug fixes

V 0.41.1 changes:
Added new character - Keeper and 7 unlocks
Isaac now can use his pocket active to trop items during pickup animation even if pocket item is discharged.
Maggy now starts with a Yum Heart
Lilith's imps don't break after picking up Ghost pepper, Birds Eye and Tech 0.5
Varios minor balance changes, sprite changes and bug fixes

Isaac being punished for q2 items does feel too highrolly early game. I mostly tested Isaac before updating to repentance+ and it decreased quality of many items so he got massively nerfed. I'll playtest him a bit more. Maggy's altars do seem to take too much to complete at later floors . I'll look into changing them. Eve got reworked. New one seems to either get transformation by floor 4-6 or get items so good transformation does not matter.

Not sure why you are having a hourglass amulet bug, i could not replicate it. I forgot that bomb costumes are a thing, i'll add them.

I am working on Appolyon right now, and have a design for Eden. I also might give each character more unlocks if i get some fun ideas.

Lost: No changes to him. I like how he has Wooden Cross, doesn’t start with Holy Mantle and doesn’t cause Holy Cards to sometimes spawn. Dice Lost is like your own take on Epiphany’s Tarnished Lost. Lilith: No changes to her. She has a unique form of attack that I like and is more bearable for me than Anathema’s Vitiated Lilith. Keeper: No changes to him either. Though the reroll side of his pocket active sometimes doesn’t work, especially as you progress further into the run. Bethany: No changes to her either. Blue versions of ultra secret rooms sound like a cool idea. Being a combination of both non-Tainted and Tainted Bethany is also a clever take.

Lastly, I found some unused collectibles in the files. I’m assuming you have more characters planned in the future? I’ll be looking forward to it if you do

Characters (note that you don’t have to apply these changes minus the bug fixes to the first three if you don’t wish to): Isaac: I don’t like how quality 2 items give an all stats down and hurt Isaac. There’s some good Q2 items like Infamy. Why not make it so that only Q1 and 0 items negatively affect Isaac (like Sacred Orb’s mechanics)? Also, sometimes picking up Q3 items can negatively affect him too (had this happened to me with The Pact). Magdalene: The altars (although optional to touch) have little to no purpose even on later floors, especially when it comes to sacrificing basic needs like coins, bombs and keys. I suggest lowering the requirement for these specific altars, specifically during the first few floors. Eve: Either make it so a miniboss room is guaranteed to spawn every floor, or more miniboss rooms should spawn per floor, so that Eve can get her demon transformation in a run

Hello @RawrImDinosaur, I just completed all the characters recently and enjoyed the mod overall, so I’m here to give you my review of it as well as bug fixes and improvements for it:

Items: Hourglass Amulet apparently makes you immortal (exactly how does that item work anyway?), Demonic Bombs should have a unique bomb appearance like most other vanilla bomb items, and the fairy familiar from Hey Look doesn’t go away if you remove it but is non-functional. Everything else works though!
