The stuff you want to know about
Depending on your definition, there's basically no missable achievements in Rebirth.
The game's story is split into chapters. Once you've completed the story, you'll unlock chapter select AND you're required to complete all these chapters a second time on the NG+ exclusive hard difficulty for an achievement anyway.

This means you can safely play the game until the credits rolled and avoil all spoilers whatsoever, then come back to this guide for the cleanup and required second playthrough.

That first playthrough can be played on any difficulty of your choice.

Next up: Side-content.
Rebirth features several pseudo-open world areas with the typical map marker driven objectives, as well as 30+ side missions.
EVERYTHING you can do in these areas remains available up until chapter 13. You can safely postpone all optional content, if you want to. You can even finish the main story and then hop back into chapter 12/13 via chapter select to clean up all this stuff.

All map exploration and -completion carries over to the chapter select / NewGame+.

Also:

Completing side missions on hard difficulty gives additional character upgrade rewards.

As such, I'd recommend you to postpone side mission until after you've completed the main story.
Doing side missions early does NOT play into the main mission in any sort of way, like other open world games sometimes do.

Whenever you decide to replay a chapter, you can choose whether or not you want to reset already completed side-missions.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a quick overview of everything you do and don't need to do for all achievements.
More detail in the chapters below.

You need to:
  • max out proficiency with every weapon
    • all missed weapons from chests can be bought at any vendor in NG+
  • max out your player rank for Queen's Blood
    • though you do not need to collect all cards
  • complete all side quests
    • though you do not need the perfect outcome for each one
  • complete all orange map markers / collect all world intel
    • trade for all materia from chadley, including the duplicates
  • get all scenic shots for the NPC Snaps
  • get max rank for all minigames
    • except the piano, for which A rank suffices
    • many have second stages in chapter 12/13, which also need to be max ranked
  • complete all combat challenges from all sources
  • collect all 88 treasures

You partially need to:
  • complete "discovery" objectives only for chapters 4, 5, 11, 12. (Refer to guide section below).
  • max out the level for "Enemy Skill", as the only materia required to be leveled.
    • obtained through Chadley's "Biological Intel: Know Thine Enemy"
    • (you'll want to have lots of other maxed materia for endgame content though)
  • in order to unlock all combat challenges from Chadley you need to:
    • assess 16 & battle 24 enemies in area 1: Grasslands
    • assess 10 & battle 15 enemies in area 2: ___ Junon __
    • assess 25 & battle 38 enemies in area 3: ___ Corel ___
    • assess 14 & battle 20 enemies in area 4: __ Gongaga _
    • assess 15 & battle 22 enemies in area 5: Cosmo Canyon
    • assess 16 & battle 24 enemies in area 6: ___ Nibel ___
      • the final few battles per region are locked behind chapter 12/13 exclusive quests
  • increase your party level to 8 and get enough SP (manuscripts) to unlock all non-blue nodes in each character's folio, especially the "Limit Break"
    • both accumulate passively by all other required content and can therefor be ignored
  • get 50% relationship progression with every character
    • progresses passively by all other required content and can therefor also be ignored

You do NOT need to:
  • assess main story exclusive encounters
  • collect all Queen's Blood cards
    • though it would make the required minigames a lot easier
  • find & complete all Cache locations
  • find & restore all Chocobo stops
  • collect any Chocobo outfits
  • clear the 3 optional checkbox objectives for the pseudo-open world combat locations
  • progress craftsmanship / transmuter level
  • collect any armor pieces & accessories
  • collect any Materia outside of Chadley's trades

Description
The Planet’s Hope
Earn all FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH achievements.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you haven't done so yet, you should absolutely play FF VII: Remake first, as Rebirth is a direct sequel and fully expects you to be familiar with it.
You can find an achievement guide for Remake here:

Furthermore, the game also kind of expects you to have played the Intermission DLC for Remake, as well as the prequel game FF7 Crisis Core. Both of these are only touched upon on the surface, but I'd still like to recommend you to have played both of them.

My own achievement guides for these two can be found here:
Missable Chapter-Specific Content
Here's all the content you need to do outside of Chapter 12/13 free roam.
If you have skipped any of these, do NOT reload an earlier save to get them. Rather finish the story and re-visit these chapters via chapter select, so that the treasures get saved to your overarching safe file progression.

Chapter 4:
Once you're in the actual city of Junon, you'll be tasked with rallying the 10 troops of the 7th infantry.

Treasure - "Rufus Shinra Cutout":
On the main street, you'll come across a troop which asks you to make a photo of them with a cardboard of Rufus. Make an actually good photo to unlock the treasure. (You might want to save in front of them in case you mess it up, for example by taking too long.)

Achievement
Description
7th, Assemble!
Recruit all Midgar 7th Infantry units for the parade in Junon.
Stealing the Show
Win the prize for outstanding performance in the Junon parade.

Treasures - "Award for Outstanding Performance" & "Presidential Commendation"
Once you got the treasure just above, make sure to round up all the remaining troops.
With all of them rallied, pick all the non-yellow troops for the parade, so that you'll have to do the Ramuh, Shiva and Bahamut formations on 3* each. Play the minigame well enough to earn 100k+ likes.

Treasure - "Stuffed Stamp":
After you've received the achievements above, watched the ensuing cutscenes and regained control, you'll be accompanied by 5 members for the 7th infantry. Make sure all 5 of them survive until the end of the chapter. You can actively heal them.

Chapter 5:
Image
Achievement
Description
Card Royalty
Win the Queen’s Blood tournament held on board the Shinra-8.

Treasure - "QB Tournament Champion":
Exactly what it says in the achievements description.
This is made a LOT easier on your second playthrough through chapter select, since you'll have way stronger cards, while the opponents remain the same.

Chapter 11:
Treasure - "Stuffed Fat Moogle"
An elevator late into the chapter will stop midway through the lift and start a minigame.
You'll have to hit the 10 crates within the onscreen time limit. In order to actually hit the belt with the crates, you'll have to angle the throw such, that the prediction line in the upper left corner is perfectly in the middle.

Chapter 12:
Image
Achievement
Description
Critically Acclaimed
Receive a review of S or higher for your performance in Loveless at the
Gold Saucer.

Treasures - "Best Actress: Tifa" & "Best Actress: Yuffie"
There's actually 7 treasures here, one for each character. Cloud, Barret, Red XIII, Cait Sith and Aerith will always be unlocked, if you get a S rank for the Loveless mini game.
In order to get Tifa's and Yuffie's treasures though, you'll specifically need them to be your date.

The first time you play through Chapter 12, you'll be paired with the character that has the highest relationship value up until that point.
When you replay the chapter through chapter select, you can handpick your date via "System -> Extra Settings" before you actually start the chapter.

Of Hardy Stock
Complete all chapters on Hard difficulty.

Available after having finished the game for the first time.
You can do this via chapter select in any order of your choice.

Buying and maxing out 3 each of the Healing, Revival and Prayer materia already goes a looong way for this, alongside 2~3 HP Up materias per character. All of these can be bought at the vending machine on the pier leading to the temple of chapter 13.

If you want further tips, you'll find them in this steam guide:

Achievement
Description
Staggered Learning
Stagger an enemy.
Staggering Success
Deal 300% or more damage to a staggered enemy.
You Work for Me Now
Defeat a summon in battle and obtain its materia.

300% stagger isn't related to fighting a summon, but they are handily available and can easily be defeated by the strategy below. Win-win. The summons do NOT need to be beaten at Full Power.

The key player here is Tifa.
  • Weapon: Sylph Gloves or Dragon Claws with "ATB Charge Rate Up" weapon ability
  • Accessoire: Speed Demon Keychain (automatically obtained at the end of chapter 4)
  • Folio abilites: "ATB Charge Rate Up" and "Weapon Ability ATB Recovery"
With all of these, any Omnistrike from Tifa replenishes like 40% of the ATB bar (so basically 80% to charge another Omnistrike).
Go up against any boss - for example one of the summons - use an unbridled strength to charge up an omnistrike, fill the ATB bar, then stagger an enemy.
Once staggered, immediately go for Omnistrike -> Unbridled Strength -> repeat.
Each Omnistrike increases the stagger damage by 30%. So 160% -> 190% -> 220% -> ...
If it gets close, you can finish up with a True Strike. It's faster and increases by 30% as well, but it replenishes way less ATB.

This entire process is made trivial by maxing out a Time materia and casting Stop on the enemy during the stagger, as it freezes the bar, but not the %.

For the other 2 party members, you can also pick a combo with a Synergy Ability, which increases both stagger % and time, once unlocked in the folio board:
  • Yuffie's "Halcyon Descent" + Cloud
  • Aerith's "Sweet-and-Sour Salvo" + Barret
  • Barret's "Purrfect Shot" + Cait Sith
  • Cait Sith's "Mega Moogle Mash" + Aerith
  • Red XIII's "Ringmaster" + Aerith

Aerith's "Ray of Judgement" and Cait Sith's "Moogle Knuckle" can increase stagger % even further, making them the perfect teammates for the 300% achievement.

(Note: Cloud's "Infinity Blade" deals increased damage on staggered enemies by itself, making it one of the best DPS moves in the game, especially when timed to go off just before stagger ends.)

Achievement
Description
A Materia World
Level up an orb of materia.
Grind It Out
Attain level 70 with a character.
Weapons 101
Max out a weapon ability’s proficiency.
Well-Rounded
Master all weapon abilities and limit breaks, including those found in folios.

Well, continue to throw yourself into battles to grind and earn Exp, AP and Proficiency.
Character level 70 might seem like much during your initial main story progress, but it's actually unmissable while completing all quests and the required NewGame+ playthrough.

If you want to get it right away though, refer to this video guide by TheGameFather:

43 out of the 49 weapons are either the default starting weapons, or can be bought at any weapon vendor, once you've unlocked chapter select.
So let's talk about the remaining 6:
  • Tifa's Dragon Claws:
Play the Corel -> Dustbowl "Desert Rush" minigame on standard course and get rank III.
  • Red XIII / Nanaki's Silver Collar:
Play the Costa del Sol "Run Wild" minigame as free-for-all and get rank III.
  • Barret's Fafnir Rifle:
Complete the Gongaga Side-Quest "The Pursuit of Perfection".
  • Yuffie's Crescent Sickle:
Start the Cosmo Canyon Side-Quest "Bonds of Trust" to get access to the "Glide the Chocobo" minigame. Get rank III on the first course.
  • Cait Sith's Gjallarhorn:
Start the Nibelheim Side-Quest "Esoteric Secrets of the Elders". Deliver 30 Chocograss for the quest itself, and another 15 to the vendor within the building.
  • Aerith's Plumose Rod:
Complete the Nibelheim Side-Quest "Lament of the Damned". The quest will require you to complete 4 combat simulator challenges within the Shinra Manor. After the quest has been completed, do another 4 challengers and a door to a nearby chamber will open, with the weapon inside.

Beyond the weapons, get the 7 limit breaks within the folio boards, alongside all the "Ability" nodes; both the 4 elementals and Synergies. So all the non-blue ones.
This will require Party Level 8 and a fair amount of SP, which shouldn't pose a problem though, given all the other content required for 100%.

Description
Virtually Renowned
Complete all of Chadley’s combat simulations.

This one is quite annoying, to be honest.
Mostly because you need to battle basically all available enemy types in all of the regions:
  • assess 16 & battle 24 enemies in Grasslands
  • assess 10 & battle 15 enemies in Junon
  • assess 25 & battle 38 enemies in Corel
  • assess 14 & battle 20 enemies in Gongaga
  • assess 15 & battle 22 enemies in Cosmo Canyon
  • assess 16 & battle 24 enemies in Nibel
    • the final few battles per region are locked behind chapter 12/13 exclusive side quests
But you'll also need to
  • max out the level of the "Enemy Skill" materia
    • obtained throught Chadley's "Biological Intel: Know Thine Enemy"
  • complete the pirate relic in chapter 12/13 (started at the pier in Costa del Sol)
  • beat the final boss of the story and return to Chadley via chapter select
  • beat the boss at the end of the protorelic questline

And now you'll actually need to complete all the virtual combat simulations, which contain the most difficult fights in the entire game...
Good Luck!

Open World
All of the achievements below can be obtained during the free roam parts at the beginning of both chapter 12 abd 13.
Chapter 12 is missing the final side quest, while chapter 13 is missing a party member.

I Brake for Chocobos
Repair three chocobo stops.
Expert Ex-kweh-vator
Use a chocobo to find two treasures buried by rabbits.

Complete a few of the non- World Intel open world objectives.
These 4 can easily be obtained as early as chapter 2.

You'll need to max out your Queen's Blood player rank for one of the treasures, and dig up 6 treasures at certain locations with your chocobo, one per region. More on that in the Treasure Trove chapter at the bottom.

Piano Virtuoso
Play all six Piano Outreach Association songs well enough to receive remuneration.

You'll get the first 5 songs by interacting with the 5 pianos in
  • Junon region -> Crow's Nest
  • Corel region -> Costa del Sol
  • Corel region -> North Corel
  • Gongaga
  • Cosmo Canyon
You'll obtain the 6th song by completing the Nibelheim Side-Quest "My White-Haired Angel"

Once you have all 6 songs, obtain an A rank for all of them and talk to the NPC Dorian, who stands right next to the first 5 pianos mentioned above.

Gather world intel at five separate locations.
Intelligence Specialist
Gather world intel at fifty separate locations.
Director of Regional Intelligence
Gather all pieces of world intel in a region.
Materia Completionist
Develop all possible materia together with Chadley.

Complete all orange map markers in all of the regions, aka collect all world intel.

One final materia becomes available for trade, once you've fully completed the protorelic questline:

Professional Handler
Obtain a protorelic in the Gongaga region.
Obtain a protorelic in the Cosmo Canyon region.
Obtain a protorelic in the Nibel region.
Bladesman of Legend
Defeat Gilgamesh.

The game will mark the first protorelic location of each region on your map. Some of them are available immediately upon entering the region, while others require the regions story boss to be beaten. The Corel proto relics even require progress until after the chapter 12 story boss.

The game will explain each questline by itself, just as it'll tell you what to do for Gilgamesh, once you've obtained all 6 protorelics.
Make sure to talk to Chadley afterwards, in order to trade his final materia for the achievement further above.

Entering New Markets
My Job Here Is Done
Complete a quest.
Complete all quests.

Just completing them is enough.
Neither do you need the perfect outcome for each quest, nor do you need the hard difficulty manuscript rewards. (Though the manuscripts are reaaally helpful for Hard Mode, so consider delaying this until after the main story).

While 35 of these quests can be done in the free roam at the beginning of chapter 12, the final one specifically requires you to progress past that chapter's boss. You may also need to have completed the other 35 quests, alongside completed attempts at each available minigame attraction of the gold saucer - musclehead colosseum included.

Achievement

Hall of Famer
Win all chocobo races.
Are You Not Entertained?
Complete all bouts in the Musclehead Colosseum.
Polygonal Prizefighter
Defeat Sephiroth in 3D Brawler.

Have fun in the Gold Saucer =)
None of these can be done in chapter 8, as chapter 12 unlocks additional entries for all minigames.

The final chocobo race is locked behind a side quest.
I easily managed to win all chocobo races with Piko - the yellow default chocobo - and the "Mystical" gear parts, which can be traded for at chocobo stables from Cosmo Canyon onwards in exchange for the golden plumes / feathers obtained through chocobo stop restorations in the 6 regions.

For some of the Musclehead Colosseum bouts you're specifically required to return via chapter select, after the credits have rolled.

To unlock Sephiroth for 3D Brawler, you need to have completed all 36 side quests. See the achievements just above.

I am not fast enough with the controller. I do not feel like practicing. Mad Respect for getting all these achievements.
Grash 11 de abr. às 9:29
Just a quick update to help others save time. just finished getting 100% achievements and you do not need ALL the orange synergy skills in the folio for Well-Rounded.

I got the achievement once i had all the purple abilities and all the active synergy skills that do not require ATB / synergy segments such as bodyguard etc. Sadly i had all the orange ones by the time i did the achievement so im not sure if you can skip even those and only pick up the purple ones

@Hannibal Lahr - They are certainly in varying locations.
I've played this game both on PS5 and PC, and I found them in different spots.
That made me look up more than a dozen different guides online for cross-referencing and all of them had discrepancies amongst each other. That's where the purple circles in my screenshots come from.

Though it appears, that there's only 2~3 spots as potential treasure contenders per region, which makes these guides somewhat consistent.

You simply lucked into a guide that worked for you....
.... Or maybe they are guaranteed to appear at whichever spot of the possible contenders you dig first?
Hannibal Lahr 11 de fev. às 23:00
FYI, the buried PLAY ARTS figures aren't random. After beating the main story I was missing two of those, looked their locations online, and I was pointed to exact spot for each.
Brachragon  [autor(a)] 11 de fev. às 7:00
No problem! Good luck on the treasure search :mhwhappy:
