SVCh Chukavin (Military Sniper)

The SVCh designated marksman rifle is a new precision weapon system developed by Kalashnikov Concern. The rifle was developed for Russian Special Forces intended for engagement of targets up to ranges of 1000 meters and greater. With proper ammunition, the rifle is capable of 1 MOA or better accuracy. It is chambered for three of the most common military cartridges, the 7.62×51mm NATO, 7.62×54mmR, and .338 Lapua Magnum. The SVCh rifle has an inverted U-shaped receiver, made from steel and a solid top that offers a stable platform for various optics, with an integrated picatinny rail. The trigger and magazine housing unit are both from lightweight alloys.
