This list includes only a few of the important commands and binds that can be used in CS2. With different versions and updates of the game, new commands may have been added or some commands might have changed.

You can get more information about additional commands by using the "help" command in the in-game console. These commands offer additional options to customize and optimize your CS2 experience.

Keep in mind that some commands may only work in single-player mode or in specific server settings.

This guide will be updated as new commands and binds are discovered

These hidden and developer commands give you access to debugging tools, advanced settings, and secret visual effects in Counter-Strike 2.

Some of them require sv_cheats 1 to work.

🛠 Advanced Debug & Developer Commands

developer 1 → Enables developer mode, showing extra debug info in the console.

con_filter_enable 1 → Allows console filtering, so you only see certain messages.

con_filter_text "error" → Filters console messages to only show errors.

cl_showerror 1 → Displays detailed client & server errors in real time.

sv_cheats 1 → Enables cheat commands (Only works on custom servers or offline).

🎥 Hitbox & Model Debugging

cl_ent_absbox 1 → Displays hitbox outlines around all objects and players.

r_drawmodelstatsoverlay 1 → Shows model statistics, including triangle counts.

r_showenvcubemap 1 → Highlights reflective surfaces on the map.

cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy 1 → Shows detailed accuracy data when firing.

cl_physics_highlight_active 1 → Highlights all physics objects in the game.

phys_pushscale 1000 → Increases how far objects fly when pushed.

prop_physics_create weapon_awp → Spawns a physics-enabled AWP that can be pushed around.

🏗 Map Debugging & Lighting Commands

mat_wireframe 1 → Enables wireframe mode, showing the game's geometry.

mat_fullbright 1 → Removes all shadows and lighting, making everything fully bright.

mat_reloadallmaterials → Reloads all map textures and materials without restarting.

r_lightmap 1 → Shows only lighting data on the map, ignoring textures.

fog_override 1 → Allows you to manually control fog settings.

📡 Networking & Server Debugging

net_graph 3 → Displays detailed network statistics, including ping and packet loss.

cl_lagcompensation 0 → Disables lag compensation, making hit registration instant.

cl_updaterate 128 → Forces the game to update at 128 ticks (if the server allows it).

rate 786432 → Adjusts the maximum data transfer rate to the highest possible.

cl_resend 1.5 → Controls how often lost packets are resent, reducing lag.

🎭 Fun & Hidden Commands

r_drawparticles 0 → Disables all smoke and explosion effects (Works with sv_cheats 1).

cl_drawhud 0 → Completely removes the HUD, making the screen clear (Good for cinematic
videos).

cl_showpos 1 → Displays your coordinates, speed, and angle on the screen.

ent_fire player addoutput "health 500" → Sets your health to 500 (Only works in cheats mode).

give weapon_knife → Gives you a knife of your choice (Works only on servers with sv_cheats 1).

🛠️ Advanced Developer and Server Commands

player_debug_print_damage 1 - Shows the amount and type of damage received in the console.

prop_debug - Displays the physical properties and damage states of map objects with colored
boxes.

script_reload - Reloads all loaded script files; useful for mod developers.

setpos x y z and setang pitch yaw roll - Teleports the player to a specific position or angle.

respawn_player - Instantly respawns the player.
General Game Settings
fps_max [value] – Sets the FPS limit. For example, fps_max 300 will limit the FPS to 300.

cl_showfps 1 – Displays the FPS counter on the screen.

net_graph 1 – Displays network statistics and FPS values at the bottom of the screen.

cl_crosshairsize [value] – Adjusts the crosshair size.

cl_crosshaircolor [value] – Sets the color of the crosshair. Values range from 0 to 5 (e.g.,

cl_crosshaircolor 1 will make it red).

cl_autowepswitch 0 – Disables automatic weapon switching.

cl_smooth 0 - Disables smooth player movement transitions, which can give you a more "raw" feel of player actions and movements

Sound Settings
volume [value] – Adjusts the overall sound volume (values between 0 and 1).

snd_musicvolume [value] – Adjusts the music volume (values between 0 and 1).

Snd_headphone_pan_exponent [value] – Adjusts the headphone sound pan exponent.

Snd_front_headphone_position [value] – Adjusts the front headphone position for sound.

Snd_rear_headphone_position [value] – Adjusts the rear headphone position for sound.

Snd_mixahead [value] – Adjusts the pre-mix time for sound.

snd_enable [value] – Enables or disables sound. snd_enable 0 disables sound.

snd_mixahead [value] – Adjusts the mixahead time for sound. Typically, a value like 0.05 reduces sound delay.

snd_ambient_volume [value] – Adjusts the volume of ambient sounds in the game.

voice_scale [value] – Adjusts the voice chat volume for team communication.

snd_headphone_pan_exponent [value] – Adjusts the pan factor for headphone audio.

snd_front_headphone_position [value] – Adjusts the front sound direction for headphones.

snd_rear_headphone_position [value] – Adjusts the rear sound direction for headphones.

voice_enable [0/1] – Enables or disables team voice chat. Use 1 to enable, 0 to disable.

snd_mixahead [value] – Adjusts the sound mix-ahead time. A lower value results in faster sound mixing.
Graphics and Visual Settings
mat_monitorgamma [value] – Adjusts the screen brightness (typically values range from 1.6 to 2.2).

r_drawtracers_firstperson 0 – Disables bullet tracers in first-person mode.

r_dynamic 0 – Disables dynamic lighting.

r_clear – Clears the screen.

mat_queue_mode [value] – Adjusts the graphics processing queue mode.
For example, mat_queue_mode 2 enables parallel processing.

r_shadowmaxrendered 100 – Sets the maximum number of shadows rendered in the game.

cl_glow 0 – Disables glowing objects on the screen.

mat_ambient_light 0.1 – Adjusts the ambient light. A lower value creates a darker environment.

r_dynamic 1 – Enables dynamic lighting.

r_renderoverlayfragment 1 – Adds extra visual effects to the rendering process.

r_lod_model [value] – Adjusts the level of detail for models (higher values reduce detail).

r_postprocess 0 – Disables post-processing effects.

mat_grain_enable 0 - Disables the grainy visual effect seen on some maps, improving performance.

r_shadows 0 - Disables shadows in the game, which can significantly improve performance,

cl_drawonlydeathnotices 1 - Only displays kill notifications in the HUD, reducing clutter.

mat_disable_fancy_blending 1 -Disables advanced blending effects, providing a cleaner image.

mat_motion_blur 0 - Disables motion blur. Some visual effects may be lost.

cl_showimpacttime 1 -Displays the time of bullet impacts. For aiming practice.

r_novisualize 1 - Enhances the emphasis on visual effects, may cause performance loss on lower systems.

r_modeldetail 0 - Reduces model detail, which can increase FPS, but visual quality is decreased.

r_screenwidth [value] - Sets the screen width (for example, 1920).
Controls and Movement Settings
cl_bob [value] – Controls the screen shake while moving (values between 0 and 1).

cl_bobcycle [value] – Adjusts the bobbing movement cycle.

cl_sprint [value] – Adjusts sprinting speed.

cl_mouseenable 1 – Enables the mouse.

cl_invertmouse [0/1] – Inverts the mouse vertical movement. 1 inverts the up-down direction, 0 keeps it normal.

cl_righthand 0 – Makes the weapon appear in the left hand (default is right hand).

cl_showpos 1 – Displays position information on the screen (location, speed, etc.).

cl_predict 1 – Enables movement prediction to reduce lag.

cl_predictweapons 1 – Enables weapon prediction.

cl_autowepswitch [0/1] – Automatically switches weapons. Set to 0 to disable.

cl_showping [1/0] – Shows the ping value on the top of the screen.

cl_showteam [0/1] – Shows team information.

@panorama_show_fps 1 - Displays the FPS counter through the Panorama UI.
Camera and View Settings
viewmodel_fov [value] – Adjusts the field of view for the weapon model.

r_farz_clipplane [value] – Adjusts the view distance.

camera_steam [value] – Adjusts camera effects.
Advanced Commands and Server Settings
sv_accelerate [value] – Adjusts the acceleration rate of movement.

sv_airaccelerate [value] – Adjusts the air movement speed, which is important for "bunny hopping."

sv_maxspeed [value] – Sets the maximum movement speed of players.

sv_maxusrcmdprocessticks [value] – Adjusts the command processing limit on the server (may affect performance).

sv_showimpacts [1/0] – Shows bullet impacts on the screen (enabled with value 1).

mp_timelimit [value] – Sets the game time limit (in minutes).
Server and Team Settings
mp_roundtime [value] – Sets the duration of a round.

mp_freezetime [value] – Sets the freeze time at the start of the round.

🎯 Recoil & Accuracy Commands

weapon_recoil_scale 0 → Disables weapon recoil, making your shots perfectly accurate.

weapon_recoil_view_punch_extra 0 → Removes extra view shake caused by recoil.

cl_crosshair_recoil 1 → Makes the crosshair move with recoil (useful for training).

cl_bob 0 → Stops weapon bobbing while moving, making aiming more stable.

cl_bob_lower_amt 0 → Removes weapon movement when running.

cl_bobamt_lat 0 → Stops side-to-side swaying of the weapon.

cl_bobamt_vert 0 → Stops up-and-down movement of the weapon.

🔄 Bullet Impact & Hit Registration Commands

sv_showimpacts 1 → Shows bullet impact locations as red and blue markers.

Red = Where the server registered the hit.

Blue = Where the client registered the hit.

sv_showimpacts_time 10 → Makes bullet impact markers last for 10 seconds.

sv_showbullethits 1 → Enables bullet hit markers on enemies and surfaces.

cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy 1 → Shows accuracy cone & bullet spread data.

cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy_duration 10 → Keeps accuracy data visible for 10 seconds.

r_debugoverlay 1 → Displays detailed hitbox info when shooting enemies.

🔥 Infinite Ammo & Fire Rate Commands

sv_infinite_ammo 1 → Unlimited ammo, but you still need to reload.

sv_infinite_ammo 2 → Truly unlimited ammo, no reload required.

sv_autobuyammo 1 → Automatically buys ammo for all weapons.

sv_bullet_penetration 10 → Increases bullet penetration power, making bullets go through thick
walls.

weapon_accuracy_nospread 1 → Removes all bullet spread, making every shot land exactly where
you aim.

💣 Grenades & Explosives Commands

sv_grenade_trajectory 1 → Shows grenade flight paths in real time.

sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10 → Keeps grenade trajectory lines visible for 10 seconds.

molotov_throw_detonate_time 0 → Molotovs explode instantly on impact.

inferno_flame_lifetime 60 → Molotov flames last for 60 seconds instead of the default time.

sv_explosion_knockback_scale 10 → Increases explosion knockback, making players fly away.

Weapon Spawn & Customization Commands

give weapon_ak47 → Spawns an AK-47 in your hands.

give weapon_awp → Spawns an AWP sniper rifle.

give weapon_deagle → Spawns a Desert Eagle.

give weapon_knife → Spawns a random knife (May not work in some servers).

ent_fire weapon_* kill → Removes all dropped weapons from the map.

ent_fire weapon_* addoutput "classname weapon_awp" → Turns all weapons on the ground into
AWPs.

cl_autowepswitch 0 → Disables automatic weapon switching when you pick up a new weapon, allowing you to keep your current weapon

ammo_grenade_limit_total 10 → Allows you to carry up to 10 grenades instead of the default limit.

🎮 Fun & Experimental Commands

sv_bullet_tracer 1 → Enables visible bullet tracers for all weapons.

r_drawparticles 0 → Removes all smoke and explosion effects.

cl_drawhud 0 → Removes the entire HUD, good for cinematic gameplay.

ent_fire player addoutput "health 500" → Sets your health to 500 (God mode-like effect).

phys_pushscale 1000 → Bullets and explosions send objects flying much farther.

give [item] – Gives a specific item. For example, give weapon_ak47 will give the AK-47.

ammo_grenade_limit_total [value] – Limits the total number of grenades.

ammo_ar2_altfire [value] – Adjusts the secondary ammo for certain weapons.

cl_reload_anim 0 - Disables weapon reload animations.

High Performance Settings
cl_updaterate [value] – Adjusts the rate at which you receive updates from the server. Higher values provide better updates.

cl_cmdrate [value] – Adjusts the rate at which you send updates to the server. Important for low ping.

rate [value] – Sets the data rate you send to the server (e.g., rate 128000 is recommended).

cl_interp [value] – Sets the interpolation time. cl_interp 0 typically provides better results.

cl_interp_ratio [value] – Sets the interpolation ratio.

cl_ragdoll_physics_enable - Enables or disables the ragdoll physics effect after death.



In-Game Commands
mp_restartgame [time] – Restarts the game after the specified time.

mp_limitteams 0 – Removes the team player limit.

mp_autoteambalance 0 – Disables automatic team balancing.

sv_cheats 1 – Enables cheats (not recommended, only for single-player).

sv_gravity [value] – Changes gravity (e.g., sv_gravity 800 is the default gravity).

bind "key" "command" – Binds a specific command to a key. For example: bind "f" "use".

unbind "key" – Unbinds a command from a key.

toggle [value] – Toggles between values. For example, toggle cl_showfps 1 will turn the FPS display on and off.
Other Commands and Customization
bind [key] [command] – Binds a command to a specific key. For example, bind "f" "use" binds the "use" command to the "f" key.

unbind [key] – Unbinds a command from a specific key.

toggleconsole – Toggles the console open and closed.

say [message] – Sends a message to your teammates.

quit – Closes the game.

retry – Reconnects to the server.

status – Shows server information (players, ping, etc.).
Console Command Tips
Opening the console: To open the console in-game, press the ~ (tilde) key. If the console does not open, enable the "Enable Developer Console" option in the game settings.

Saving commands: You can add commands to the autoexec.cfg file to automatically apply them each time you start the game.

thirdperson → Switches the game to third-person view. (Requires sv_cheats 1.)

firstperson → Switches back to first-person view.

cam_idealdist 150 → Adjusts the camera distance in third-person mode (pulls the camera back).

cam_idealyaw 180 → Changes the camera angle in third-person mode.

mat_fullbright 1 → Removes all lighting on the map, making everything fully bright (useful for dark areas).

cl_wpn_sway_interp 0 → Completely removes weapon sway.

r_drawothermodels 2 → Shows enemy skeletons through walls (like wallhack, only works with sv_cheats 1).

🚀 Speed & Movement Commands

sv_gravity 100 → Reduces gravity, making you jump like you're on the moon (Default: 800).

sv_gravity 2000 → Increases gravity, making you fall super fast.

sv_airaccelerate 1000 → Allows for super-fast air movement (great for bunny hopping).

sv_maxspeed 500 → Increases the player movement speed (Default: 320).

noclip → Allows you to fly and pass through walls.

cl_showpos 1 → Displays your speed, angle, and position on the screen.

Truly Lesser - Known CS2 Console Commands
ent_bbox Displays the hitbox boundaries of objects you aim at. Used by map creators.

bot_mimic 1 Makes bots mimic your movements exactly. A rare and interesting training tool.

report_cliententitysim Lists how the player's model is simulated client-side (network and physics-
wise).

rr_reloadresponsesystems Reloads bot response systems (radio, voice commands).

resource_list Lists all resources (textures, models, sounds, etc.) currently loaded in the game's
RAM.

cl_clock_correction Toggles the lag correction algorithm on and off. Used for network testing.

net_droponsend Drops packets deliberately to simulate lag (used for advanced testing).

demo_pauseatpos Pauses demo playback at a specific position automatically.

snd_async_flush Restarts the sound system. Useful for fixing sound bugs.

mat_wireframe 1 Displays all game objects in a wireframe model (sv_cheats 1 required).

host_framerate 60 Fixes the FPS and affects timing (usually used with slow-mo).

cl_particle_fallback_base Adjusts the level of particle effects; lowering it can increase FPS.

scene_showfaceto Displays which way bots are facing (used for AI analysis).

m_yaw 0.0165 Changes the horizontal sensitivity of the mouse (default: 0.022). Very uncommon.

sv_lan Specifies whether the server is running on LAN or not. Helps fix bot issues sometimes.

cl_lean 1 Activates leaning in the game (requires cheats enabled).

sv_showimpacts 1 Shows the impact points where bullets hit surfaces, useful for practicing aim.

r_sun_shadow_texture_size 2048 Adjusts the resolution of sun shadows, improving shadow quality but can lower FPS.

mat_fullbright 1 Makes the entire map fully bright, turning off shadows and lighting effects (useful for map creation).

sv_airaccelerate 100 Increases air control for bunny hopping or other advanced movement.

cl_ragdoll_physics_enable 1 Enables ragdoll physics for players and bots, showing their bodies
after death.
