Introduction
Hey you! Yeah, you! Do you hate how most new games look like a blurry mess?

Well, that is because of TAA. What is that, you ask? TAA is an anti-aliasing method that reduces jagged edges in games. While it is the best looking and least performance intensive anti-aliasing method currently available, it also causes ghosting and blurriness.

While this may not be an issue for console gamers and people with 4K displays, for those of us who are closer to the screen and have lower resolution displays, the issue is much more pronounced.
Disclaimer
Turning off TAA will make the jagged edges more noticeable and introduce shimmering.
How to disable TAA
  • Go to: C:\Users\Documents\The Crew 2
  • Open PCScalability.xml in a notepad.
  • Change TemporalAA="3" to TemporalAA="69420" (any number above 5 will do)
  • Turn off Screen-Space Reflections in the in-game settings, as they’re heavily dithered.
How to re-enable TAA
If, for whatever reason, you want to re-enable TAA, just change TemporalAA back to 3.
Conclusion
Now that you have disabled TAA, you can bask in the glory of having a clear image. Enjoy!
