A Vampire's Best Friend

Hi all and sundry.

Obligatory: This is my first Skyrim mod. If you experience any problems with it, let me know and I'll do my best to fix it.

*** DESCRIPTION ***

This ring contains a custom enchantment that removes the fire and sunlight penalties that vampires suffer. If your character is not a vampire, this ring and its enchantment should have no effect (it removes the penalties outright, it does not compensate for them by adding extra fire resistance or health/stamina/magicka regen).

The ring itself can be found in Falion's house in Morthal, on the table on the right-hand side of the room (from the entrance).

The enchantment can also be stripped at an enchanter's table and applied to chest armor, amulets or rings.

If the penalties are not removed right after equipping the ring, exit your inventory and then open it again. The penalties should be removed and the "Vampire's Best Friend" enchantment applied.

This mod should not rely on anything except the base game, and should be good for Dawnguard and non-DG vampire characters alike.

If the item does not spawn in Falion's house, it can be added to your inventory via the console using ID xx000D63 (depending on mod load order).

*** KNOWN CONFLICTS ***

If you have installed mods that mess with vamp progression, this mod has a high likelyhood of conflicting with it. By removing the vamp weaknesses, the enchantment (as a side effect of how core game vamp progression works) "freezes" your current vampire stage. e.g, if you're stage 3 and put the ring on, your character will be a stage 3 vamp until you feed, or remove the ring, either action of which will bring you back to stage 1 vamp progression.
