Introduction


Hello and welcome to my guide.
This will help you get all 47 audio logs, which will all count towards the 'Chronicler' Achievement.
You only need 40/47 audio logs, so it's ok to miss a few, but dont make a habit of it. The games save system is buggy and repeating levels for audio logs is long and tedious .

All in all, best to just get them first time and be done with it.

Level 1: Armageddon
-Audio Log 1 (Log 6)
After you blow up the high up target that bursts into flames first (the tank thing), look to your right. It's right in front of the barricades. Before you enter the terraformer, walk down the road in the opposite direction of the shield to find this log.



















-Audio Log 2 (Log 21)
Immediately after the cutscene of your reinforcements landing, clear out the enemies in the building to your right, then run along the right side of that building (or what’s left of it depending on your appetite for destruction) to find this log in the corner.



















Level 2: The Terraformer
-Audio Log 3 (Log 22)
You'll go up a bunch of ramps that spiral. Once you are at the top of the area, go through the first door on the right.



















-Audio Log 4 (Log 23)
On the third level of the room with the glowing core in the center of it.You'll destroy a bunch of stuff and move on for a while. You'll eventually go up another ramp that spirals slightly. You'll be in a room and on your left before a door with a big generator, you'll see three pickups. The one on the right is the audio log.



















-Audio Log 5 (Log 33)
Automatic. You get this as you complete the level.
Level 3: Dig Site
[No audio logs]
Level 4: We're Not Alone
-Audio Log 6 (Log 20)
There’s no need to look for this log, since it’s given to you as soon as the mission begins.



















-Audio Log 7 (Log 20)
This log is on your path and to your left. In a pit with the ruins of a structure (below the ledge and just outside your field of view), when you are told to clear debris.



















-Audio Log 8 (Log 24)
You’ll notice this audio log just to your right a few minutes on from the last one. It’s in your path, so you can’t miss it.
Level 5: Outbreak
-Audio Log 9 (Log 2)
Soon after the level begins, you’ll come upon a flame-filled tunnel to your right. The log is at the mouth of that tunnel.



















-Audio Log 10 (Log 8)
Once you get to a town-like area with neon signs, continue on through a tunnel and as you enter to your left is a truck on fire. Near there you should see the audio log. This is where you will be introduced to an enemy that fires green projectiles at you (the Monolith).
Level 6: Road to Bastion
-Audio Log 11 (Log 36)
As soon as the level begins, turn around to find an audio log behind this dude.



















-Audio Log 12 (Log 11)
After reparing the bridge, continue on. You will need to destroy an infected building. Close by on higher ground is an upgrade station. To the right of it by some boxes is the log.



















-Audio Log 13 (Log 25)
You'll find a LEO Exo Suit. It's a mech type suit that lets you fire unlimited ammo and rockets. Once you destroy the two structures (an objective you get), you'll continue on. Two Monolith enemies will come out of the ground. After dispatching of the enemies in this area, you should see a garage to the right of where the enemies spawned. It's inside center and back. You must exit the suit (holding :xbut) to get the log.



















Audio Log 14 (Log 35)
After pulling a switch and getting on something called the Gondola (basically a lift that brings you to another area), you will have an objection to get to the Bastion elevator. Right after you step onto land again, look to your right and you'll see a road that curves and and goes backwards. Follow it to the end for the log.
Level 7: Bastion Defenses
-Audio Log 15 (Log 27)
This is at the very start of the level. There is a tube-like structure to your right with the audio log at the end. This is to the right of the turret.



















-Audio Log 16 (Log 1)
Between finding the second and third power cell, you’ll come upon this tunnel with two machine guns at the entrance. You can find the log several yards to the right of this entrance.



















-Audio Log 17 (Log 5)
Right after exiting the tunnel you can make out the audio log in the distance to your right. It's up some stairs in front of a generator you need to repair. You can get before repairing the generator it's in front of. This one is very hard to miss.
Level 8: Water Supplies
-Audio Log 18 (Log 37)
At the very start of this level, it's in your viewpoint. It's to the right of the path you must go on, in the little shack. Get this before wandering too far.



















-Audio Log 19 (Log 19)
When you enter the large pumping station room, stay on the top level and move to the back.



















-Audio Log 20 (Log 28)
-After the first water pumps are repaired, you'll navigate through an area with lots of white crystals on the wall. When you come out, you will see an Upgrade Station and Weapon Locker. Look left at the monorail area. (You will need to sprint and jump right at the ledge to make it.)
Level 9: Ice Mines
-Audio Log 21 (Log 15)
This one’s found a few feet away from the upgrade station at the start of the level.



















-Audio Log 22 (Log 16)
After the big showdown at the multi-level administration offices you’ll encounter some stairs and an alternate path to the right. Follow the latter to the audio log.



















-Audio Log 23 (Log 17)
Just after the cutscene with the corporal, take the stairs that lead up and to the left. Follow this path until you see a small door on your left that leads to a room with a massive claw. On the lower level of this room you’ll find this log.
Level 10: Infection
-Audio Log 24 (Log 12)
You will be needing to destroy infected buildings. As you make your way to each, you should see an upgrade station and weapons locker as you head towards the second. To the right and in front of the opposide side's structure, you will find this log.



















-Audio Log 25 (Log 13)
Make your way to the third infected building. You should see a little building to your right and a fan to your left. This is when you go down a few steps (which possibly isn't obvious). The little building on the right has some plants with a red heater above them. To your right is the log. This is all before going up the many steps to the building.



















-Audio Log 26 (Log 14)
If you are destroying the buildings in the suggested order, you will see a non-infected building next to the fourth infected one. Along the right side of that building you’ll find this log. Depending on how the battle just went, it may be covered in rubble.
Level 11: On the Run
-Audio Log 27 (Log 31)
Very soon after Kara contacts you, you’ll notice a weapon station straight ahead. To the left of the station you’ll spot an audio log.



















-Audio Log 28 (Log 30)
As you exit the market, you should see a bright blue neon sign that says Authorized Personnel Only. To the left of it is a rock that has a note saying "Get to Bastion". Pass through the gate with the sign and continue. Upon entering the structure ahead, look to your left.



















-Audio Log 29 (Log 29)
You will get to a ladder you must repair (where you must get out of your suit finally to continue on). After going up this ladder you'll see the log.
Level 12: The Red Faction
-Audio Log 30 (Log 32)
Play through the level and you'll eventually face a behemoth. After killing it, go back up the hill where the last pods were that you had to destroy (of the 6). The audio log appears after you had faced the behemoth.
Level 13: Relay Stations
Note: If you have gotten all 30 logs so far, you can choose to skip them from now on. Later on you will get 10 logs automatically given through the story. However, if you have missed a couple, I recommend getting at least a few more to be safe.

-Audio Log 31 (Log 7)
After you destroy the first relay station, you will see this on your path right after picking up the Rail Driver weapon.



















Audio Log 32 (Log 34)
Just past the third relay tower. You’ll pass the log on your way to the fourth tower.
After destroying the 4th station, the game will want you to continue forth over a bridge. Look left and go on that bridge instead. Look to your right after crossing.

Level 14: Heavy Metal

Level 16: Hale

Level 17: Must Go Faster

Level 18: Marauder Defenses
-Audio Log 33 (Log 3)
As you make your way to the front line, you will come to a structure with bridges and lava under. Go straight up the first bridge and keep walking down the next to the audio log.



















-Audio Log 34 (Log 4)
On your way to destroying the bridge, you’ll see two tunnels side by side. The objective is to the left, but the log is to the right. Go down the right path until you’re in a black room. The audio log is through a door on the left side of that room.
Level 19: Older Enemies
-Audio Log 35 (Log 18)
You'll see this as soon as you start the level, next to the weapons locker.



















-Audio Log 36 (Log 9)
After clearing an area and headed towards the labs, you'll repair a walkway as you pass by tenticles that come out of the wall. You'll reach an area where one will show up from the floor in the distance. To your left is the log



















-Audio Log 37 (Log 10)
You'll eventually be running down a walkway. It will lead to a lighted cavern with computers. Upon entering, look to your left. This is just before going over a bridge that you must repair after something from above drops on it.
Level 20: Air Support

Level 21: The Road Less Traveled
-Audio Log 38 (Log 26)
After you ride the barge and shoot enemies, you will come to a force field and have to get off to deactivate it. As you head to the objective, look to your right once you enter a small structure. This is the last audio log in the game. HOORAH!
Level 22: Knock, Knock

Level 23: The Lair

Level 24: Last Chance

Final words
I think that's all of them. I may have got the audio log numbers wrong, but that will not effect the count so long as you get all of them, or remember which one you missed.

Audio Log 19 is called Log 28, not Log 38.

About this Audio Log 33 (Log 4) is right after you destroyed the bridge, in a room with lighting columns
