Description
Vanilla game, presumably to make vassalization and razing into more attractive alternatives, scales the number of turns it takes to absorb or migrate a captured city based on the distance from your nearest city of the matching race, to a grand total of 6 turns for migration and 9 turns for absorption!There is a point to be made how that helps the owner to reclaim their cities, especially taking the mechanics of older games of the franchise such as AoW3 and AoW: Planetfall into consideration, but I believe with sieges taking 5+ turns on big cities, there is no need to wait additional 9 turns to absorb them!

On top of that, based on distance, settling a city scales upward to 9 turns, which I find to be absurd as well!

This mod lowers the time for migration and absorption to 2 turns flat, as well as lowering the time for settling a city to 3 turns flat.

Very nice, agreed. I wouldn't have to conquer a city on the other side of the map if those pesky free cities didn't declare war on me the moment I meet them.
