Introduction
So, dear readers, we all love when our profile looks beautiful and gathers a lot of compliments. This guide is dedicated to exactly that. In pursuit of this idea, we couldn’t find a decent “Guide.” This is not only useful for players and fans of the game *Everlasting Summer*. It just happened that this game was the first to inspire me to create a beautiful Steam profile.

I want to immediately answer the question: “Isn’t it easier to buy or download a ready-made profile? Or pay someone to do everything for you?” Maybe it would be easier, but I don’t have that much money. Plus, we wanted to create the profile ourselves and test our own limits. We’ll try to describe each point of this plan as accurately as possible.

The example will be my Steam gaming profile, as well as my friend Lusia. We worked on this for a very long time. It’s hard to put into words how many windows were broken and packs of cigarettes smoked. But it was worth it.

One of the main factors was that we had almost no exact information. We had to search for everything and figure it out on our own. So, to start, I’ll make a rough plan, and then break it down into points with screenshots.
Solo leveling
In my opinion, the best level is 50+. The reason is that 5 showcases are more than enough for decoration. Remember, for every 10 levels, you get 1 showcase. :) Later on, you can buy new showcases for Steam points in the store (6,000 points for a new showcase) or upgrade an old showcase, which will increase the space for displaying your creativity (3,000 points per upgrade, but not all showcases can be upgraded, and it's not unlimited).

1) Illustration – The most important element, as it immediately shows whose honor the profile is dedicated to.
2) Workshop – Here, you can insert a beautiful GIF.
3) Screenshot Showcase
4) Achievement Showcase
5) Favorite Game

At the bottom, I'll try to describe all the stages.
Stage 1: Level Up and Unlock 5 Showcases
There are 2 ways to level up:

1) **Do it yourself.** Buy game cards on the marketplace and craft badges. For each badge level, you’ll earn 100 XP. This method is time-consuming and can even be a bit unprofitable financially.

2) **Buy it.** On this website https://steamlevelu.com/, you can buy any level you want. The price is generally the lowest on the market, plus you get cashback. For example, I raised my level to 40 for $13 and got almost $7 back. You can also download a plugin and instantly use all the cards with one click. It's convenient and practical.

You can farm 6,000 Steam points and buy showcases. For example, on this website [FunPay] https://funpay.com/, you can buy any amount of points. But keep in mind, you will receive them after 14 days. Therefore, we recommend getting showcases by leveling up using the second method. Buy card sets and don’t overthink it.
Stage 2: Designing the Main Section of Your Steam Profile
Let's start with the background, avatar, and main illustration. On [Pinterest] https://www.pinterest.com/, you can find a lot of art and GIFs. Also, in most cases, you can search within Steam itself, in the Workshop and public groups.
On the website [Steam.Design] https://steam.design/, you can find a background tailored to your character. As I mentioned, the background is the key element of your profile. Once you choose a background, you can then search for the character art to complement it.

This video is incredibly convenient and easy to follow. Here, you'll be able to create your own animated art. I love individuality, so I created mine myself. However, if you don't really care about that, then the website [VSTHEMES] https://vsthemes.org/en/ can help you. It will assist in creating illustrations and properly setting them up in your profile. Additionally, it will help you publish illustrations for the Workshop, Screenshot Showcase, and more.
Stage 3: Tools for Editing Photos or GIFs
For editing GIFs or images, I recommend these websites:

1) [Aspose Image Compression Tool] https://products.aspose.app/imaging/image-compress/gif
2) [iLoveIMG] https://www.iloveimg.com/

These sites offer many tools and ways to edit photos or GIFs. Additionally, ChatGPT can help you as well! Personally, it helped me resize a GIF to under 5MB.

There is also software that can help you unlock all the achievements for your Steam Achievement Showcase. Unfortunately, I don't have a direct link, but it is available publicly.

To access a wider selection of achievement icons for your showcase, buy the game **ZUP! S**. It costs about $0.5, and with the help of the software, you can unlock all the achievements.
Stage 4: The Workshop Showcase
For the Workshop Showcase, you’ll need to split a GIF into 5 equal pieces, keeping the width around 615px for simplicity.

Despite the apparent challenges, the advantage of the showcase is that each of the 5 pieces can weigh up to 5MB, which gives you the possibility of uploading a higher-quality GIF. To adjust your GIF to the right size, we’ll use the website **iLoveIMG | Online Image Tools**. In the "Resize" section, set only the width; the site will automatically adjust the length, maintaining the proportions. After downloading the new file, go to the “Crop Image” section and, as surprising as it sounds, start cropping your image. Simply specify the desired width and height of each fragment.

For each subsequent fragment, in the "X Position" field, enter the image width multiplied by (N-1), where N is the fragment’s number (just multiply and enter the number). This way, you’ll get 5 equal fragments of your GIF.

Most likely, your slices will still be quite large individually. So, on the same website, look for the "Compress Image" section and upload your creations. If successful, you’ll get compressed files with a suitable size. If not, try other compression services or turn to ChatGPT for help. However, my personal advice is to find a simpler video rather than struggling with compression, as your fragments might lose quality, wasting a lot of your time.

So, you’ve made it to this stage, your fragments are ready, and their size should be acceptable by Steam's guidelines. But don’t get too excited yet; this is only half the journey. If someone, in excitement, has already rushed to upload their work to the Workshop and even placed it in their showcase, they will most likely face a disappointment like this:

Don’t be disappointed; this issue is fixable. To solve it, we’ll use the following website: **Online Hex Editor Tool** or any similar tool. This website allows us to edit the raw code of our fragment.

1. Open your fragment on the website and you’ll see many rows and columns consisting of pairs of numbers/letters.
2. Scroll all the way to the bottom of this matrix to find the last pair.
3. Replace this last pair with “21”.
After making the change, save your modified file. Repeat this process with all your fragments. This adjustment will ensure that your GIF fragments are properly recognized and displayed as intended.
Stage 5: Screenshot Showcase
For the Screenshot Showcase, we’ll return to the website [iLoveIMG] https://www.iloveimg.com/ — Online Image Tools.

This showcase typically consists of 4 sections: one large photo and 3 smaller ones. However, you can simplify it to just 1 large and 1 small photo, similar to the illustration showcase example from Step 1. On this site, you can either resize or crop your photos. Below, I’ll list the **required photo dimensions** (remember the 5MB file size limit):

1. **Large photo** – Width: 614px.
The height will be adjusted automatically by the site.
2. **Small photo** – Width: 100px.
The height will also be adjusted automatically.

I’d also like to remind you about the website [VSTHEMES] https://vsthemes.org/en/skins/steam-artwork/69460-alisa-dvachevskaya.html, where you can learn how to upload GIFs or images to your Steam profile. This method works for all showcases.

That’s all! We hope this guide has been helpful, and that there will be a few more visually pleasing Steam profiles out there.

Additionally, I’d like to mention a small but very nice modification. For 10,000 shards, you can buy a gaming profile from the game *Dying Light 2* in the Steam store. This will allow you to unlock many cool features for your profile. Here's the link to an overview of this profile.

Conclusion
We sincerely hope that our guide has been helpful to you in some way. Of course, it's a bit difficult to put all this information together and present it neatly, but we promise we’ll keep improving and updating the guide.

Feel free to reach out to us with any questions. This way, you can point out any mistakes in the guide, and we'll fix them right away.

Have a wonderful day! :)
