San Piero

Description
Welcome in the county of San Piero, with 2 cities on the Pacific ocean : Monterey (East) and Venetia (West)

It's a new and hard challenge, these cities are separated by a long and high mountain,
and only connected by a highway with a permanent very high traffic !

Special challenge : try to not use train to connect the 2 cities but only buses or trams (I don’t know if this is possible !)

This is my first map, all elements have been placed by me.
I wanted to make a very realistic map, so it was a long job !

And I was a bit inspired by Nice and Villefranche sur mer in France..

ENJOY IT !

I love the double-city aspect with lots of places in-between. An interesting heightmap and challenging road network give monorails an advantage. Landmarks and shopping centers have been used sparingly but with very functional placements so that getting everything connected gives out good reward at the end. Superb work!

Cool ! I have noticed that the people, on the North East mountain, use the transportation system only if there is a rapid line through the farmland and connected to the west side of the map. ( I suppose they don't want to go by the south of oth map)

As a new mapmaker here I found the farmland very inspiring on your map. Your terrain is dynamic and realistic. A pleasure to explore!
