how to MOD portal 2

i will show you how to MOD portaL 2. you will need

a web browser
steam
portal 2
a laptop/pc
keyboard and mouse

How to mod!

to get the mods, i would really recommend gamebanana,
but if you use any other thing.. ok
anyways
If you are on your mods website
go on the portal 2 page!
note: Please ignore any green download buttons when you are in the home page.
Search for the mod you like! For this guide. I get The hot pink portals.
When you are downloading in Gamebanana, Make sure these are saying: CLAMAV: CLEAN
AVASTAV: CLEAN.
While Downloading open up Portal 2's local files.
Go to Steam libary, Portal 2, The cog icon, Manage, Browse local files.
In Portal 2 files, Open bin. When the mod is downloaded. Extract it with whatever extreacting app you have.
Open up the files till you see something like pak01_dir.vpk.
Put the pak01_dir.vpk file inside bin..
and then your done!
Note: if you want to install multiple mods, rename pak01_dir.vpk to pak02, pak03, pak04, etc.
