Description
(Originally from Endgame Research)

Adds in muskets, flintlock pistols, ammunition, and the ability to manufacture more of them.

To obtain, either pick one of the game starts, or make your way down to the north eastern side of the Ashlands to find Ash Dome V. The blueprint there will unlock the gunsmithing bench, to which you can make everything you'll need.

Muskets and their pistol counterparts are quite powerful, but take a really long time to reload given their black powder nature. In most cases, unarmored targets will not survive being shot. (Please refer to the US revolutionary war!)

In that regard, yes. Changes very little of the basegame - one has to go out of their way to obtain the blueprints and weapons.

Is this the best gun mod there is for Kenshi, for players looking to keep things as vanilla as they can? It seems like it is.

Expecting sounds to fall from the sky aint happening.
There's quite a lot of nice gun mods that are vanilla based, and haven't gotten them when the chance presented itself.

Eh, I'm sure someone else will make a mod to make firearm sounds for this one much like the Shoddy Firearms.

I don't use RE_Kenshi or mod for it, due to it being a Nexus item.
I try to keep everything simple and on the Steam platform.

Have you considered adding sound to the musket? Kinda how Kathun has blasters make sounds, I believe its possible through RE_Kenshi idk though, either way love it

If you haven't been to the Ashlands, you shouldn't need to.
If you have, you should import.
