Save game transfer from Ubisoft Connect to Steam

How to transfer save games from Ubisoft Connect to Steam version.

This guide is for those players who bought the Steam version only to find out your save game didn't carry over from Ubisoft Connect, and don't want to start the game from scratch.

This guide only works if:
- You are using Windows
- You have played the game on same computer and haven't deleted your local saves.

(You might be able to recover Ubisoft Connect cloud saves by downloading first the Ubisoft version of the game from Ubisoft Connect, but I haven't tested this.)

Step-by-step instructions

1. Launch Ubisoft Connect and disable cloud saves (you can re-enable them later)

In the top left corner, select your profile.
• Go to the "Settings" tab.
• In the General section, next to "Enable cloud save synchronization for supported games", untick the box

2. Locate save folders. You can find your save games usually in these two locations:

a) Ubisoft Connect save games folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\*yourownid*\720

b) Steam version save games folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\*yourownid*\857

3. Take a backup of both folders (recommended).

4. Copy files from folder 720 -> 857

5. Launch game via Steam.

6. Check that game works and do something to trigger save (eg. play a mission, change loadout).

7. Quit game.

8. Check that the files on folder 857 have current timestamp.

9. Re-enable cloud saves from Ubisoft Client (optional).

10. Restart the game from Steam.

11. There might be a notification asking which save to use, choose local saves.

12. All done, enjoy the game!

Bro for me its says data curropted in ghost recon breakpoint

I will try later with Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, because I like Steam more than Ubisoft and I wanted to change but I didn't wanted to start from zero. Maybe can work as well (changing some steps), but anyway, thanks for this guide. :)

It worked. My hours and level are there, except when I click play, it tells me I have missing DLC's which is weird because I bought the seasons pass on Ubi connect. Not sure what to do

Great advice, except this game is so amazing that I honestly wouldn't mind replaying the game again. I've replayed it 3 times already on Ubi Connect, so a 4th time won't kill me
