100% Achievement Guide - Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Ubisoft finally added achievements to this game!
In this guide you'll see how to get every achievement in the game.

Introduction

YOU DON'T NEED DLC TO GET ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS

BEWARE: Some achievements can't be unlocked without GEAR LEVEL enabled, like:

Lord of War: Equip a legendary weapon.


Thankfully, there are only five achievements that need it on (And I explicitly state which ones), so you could still play with inmersive settings most of the time.

Also, if an achievement doesn't pop up, try restarting the game. If it still doesn't pop up, try unlocking it in another save.

For the achievements, there are only two types of missions really:

1. Story Missions
   
2. Faction Missions

We'll start with...

Story Missions

You'll get these ones over the course of the game, you don't need to worry too much about them:


A safe haven: Reach the end of Act 1.
You get this one after finishing the "Eagles Down" mission after talking to Holt.


End of Act 2: Reach the end of Act 2.
You get this one after finishing the "The Enemy Of My Enemy" mission.


Totsiens!: Finish A GREAT ESCAPE.
This is the penultimate mission in Carl Chisum's branch.

Cry Wolves: Finish SPEAK NO EVIL, HEAR NO EVIL, SEE NO EVIL.
You need to kill Rosebud, Silverback and Flycatcher in all three branches in Act 3: Carl Chisum's, Christina Cromwell's and Paula Madera's, respectively.

End of Act 3: Reach the end of Act 3.
You get this one after finishing all Carl Chisum's, Christina Cromwell's and Paula Madera's missions.


You can't stop us, Nomad!: Finish FRIENDLY FIRE.
This is the second mission in Act 4.


Change hurts: Finish POINT OF NO RETURN.
This is the third mission, and the middle one, in Act 4.


Here's your World 2.0: Kill Walker.
You get this achievement in "Brother Vs Brother", the fourth mission in Act 4.

Interestingly enough, you can kill him at the start of the game. I don't know if the achievement will pop up this way, but it may.

Breakpoint: Reach the end of Act 4.
You get this one after finishing the "Checkmate" mission.

Faction Missions

These ones you do need to seek out, in case you haven't played them a lot:

War never ends: Finish 8 Faction Missions in a single day.
Just in case, these are timed by an in-game day, not real life
Remember that these are the green missions:

Here's some advice:

1. In your Ghost Experience settings, set Exploration Mode to Guided. This way the icons will appear in your Tacmap and HUD.
   
   
   
2. Go to a Bivouac in your chosen province, deploy it (maybe even make some preparations) and, when you're going to break camp, select the time after 00:00 that's closest to it. This way you can get the most out of that in-game day.
   
   
   
3. Use a helicopter as much as you can.
   
4. Some missions won't have a marker as to where they're located. This means that you need to get some intel.

The achievement will pop up after the 8th mission is completed.

Elite Guerrilla: Finish 5 Elite Faction Missions.
In the Objectives Board, go to the Faction missions and look for the ones marked with a skull and knife.
Replaying the same mission won't count for the achievement.

This section will be divided in three parts:

1. Exploration
   
2. Combat
   
3. Stealth

Exploration

Some of these will come naturally from playing the story.


It's free real estate: Discover 50 different Bivouacs.


For this I'll say "Explore". Remember that you can spot them by the thin smoke in the sky.

If you still don't want to explore and prefer the exact locations, Swiss Game Guides[swissgameguides.com] got you covered (The brown squares with triangles are the bivouacs).


Expert Herbalist: Pick up 20 different natural resources.
Walking around you'll find different plants. Check your inventory to keep track of how many you have.


A Man of the World: Discover 20 different Provinces.


These are the named locations like "Smuggler Coves" or "New Argyll".

You don't need to have covered all the province, just play normally and, if you're missing some, you can fly low ground with a helicopter to cover more space easily.

BUT you may miss one, so make sure to visit Golem Island in the far top right corner.



The woe of wit: Find 20 clues in the world.
You can get clues for different reasons:

• Speaking with characters
  
• Collectables
  
• Some (but not all) pieces of intel

To check your progress, go to the Investigations folder in the Objectives Board.


Heart of Darkness: Find all 8 mysterious carillons.
Just go to the following locations and loot the nearby chests:

1. In New Argyll:
   Below Danna Forest and a little North West of the MacDougal Stream.

   In Smuggler Coves:
   South East of Drone Station W011, also to the right of the E in Ridge.
   
   
   
3. 
   
   
   Also in Smuggler Coves:
   At the South West border, south of the Cemetery Forest Bivouac and West of Checkpoint Tiger Alpha. Make sure to enter the cave and loot the chest inside.
   
   
   If you don't arrive exactly to the cave, look for this statue. It'll be near the cave.
   
   
   
4. 
   
   
   
   In Whalers Bay:
   At the North East border, North West of Checkpoint Weasel Charlie and South East of Mechanical R&D Center.
   
   
   
5. 
   
   
   In the Channels:
   South West of Step Up Startup and East of Auroa Power Plant.

   In Windy Islands:
   West of the Whalers Island Bivouac.

   In Egg Island:
   South West of the Albatross Hill Bivouac.

   North East of the Stony Hill Bivouac.

You Monster: Destroy a Farmer drone.


In the South East part of the island, in New Stirling, there's a location called Kelso Fields.

These drones are brown harvesters. You can destroy them with normal guns.


If you got the achievement without looking at any guide, you deserve that title.

Combat

Jack of all Guns: Kill an enemy with every firearm type.
Kill an enemy with:

• Assault Rifle (ASR)
  
• Submachine Gun (SMG)
  
• Shotgun (STG)
  
• Light Machine Gun (LMG). Miniguns on vehicles could work.
  
• Snipers (SNR and DMR)
  
• Pistol (HDG)

Drone farmer: Destroy 50 enemy drones.
Self explanatory.

David's Challenge: Kill a Behemoth.
By playing the story you'll encounter one before fighting Walker in "Brother Vs Brother".
You'll also find them guarding certain locations.


Hunter becomes the Hunted: Kill 50 Wolves.
Self explanatory. If you haven't unlocked this after finishing the story, remember you can visit the Wolves Outposts. They're marked with their V icon:


What a maniac: Kill 20 enemies by running them over.
Have fun!


Simple Geometry: Kill 2 enemies with a single rocket.
Simple enough. Find some unsuspecting guards and blow them up!


A brutal stop: Kill a convoy's driver with a sync shot drone.
(I'd advice you to disable teammates for this one)

First you need the Syncshot Drone unlocked in the Skills section and then equip it in your loadout.

Then you'll need to find a convoy. They don't spawn in specific locations, so your only choice is to drive around or, preferably, fly around in a helicopter at a low altitude. Convoys consist of 3 vehicles. If you only find a group of 2, it doesn't count.


When it's near, aim at the driver and press the gadget button to send a Syncshot drone to him. An icon above will appear as if you were syncshotting with teammates.




Then detonate the Syncshot Drone to kill the driver.

Bang bang: Get 3 headshots with a handgun in 5 seconds.

Look for these kinds of stray guards and get rid of them quickly.


Bird watching: Kill an helicopter's pilot with any weapon.
Self explanatory.

If you find a guard near a helicopter, you could shoot at the floor near him to make him alert. Then, hopefully, he'll enter the helicopter as a driver and then kill him before he lifts off.


Expert Marksman: Kill 2 enemies more than 200m away with headshots in 3 seconds.


In the Infinity province, go to Raven Wood. Below the word "Wood" there's an Abandoned site.


Go to this house:

Opposite to this window will be the one from where we'll shoot the guards in Checkpoint Viper Golf. You'll see that enemies are +200m away.

• If you feel you're too limited in this space, feel free to move to another position as long as the enemies are +200m away (Equip the binoculars in your items wheel to check this).
  (I got the achievement from this position)
  

Headshot them quickly to get the achievement.

Death from above: Kill an enemy 5 seconds after landing from a base jump.




In the North side of Smugglers Cove, go to the Sunken Clipper Bay Bivouac.


North from there will be the Maunga Nui Port.


In a large building there's a sniper on the rooftop.


Run and jump from the cliff and parachute down there.


You don't particularly need to CQC, even a shot will work better.

Get it off me!: Shoot a wasp while it is still on it's carrier's back.

There's an enemy whose icon are four dots on a square shape:

That drone on its back is the one we have to shoot.
If you shoot at the drone while the operator is alive, he'll be alerted.
To get around this, you could keep shooting the drone until it explodes or kill the operator and then destroy the drone.
Regarding that second option, it'll be difficult if his corpse doesn't land on it's face, so carry and throw him to get the chance to have a little peek of the drone in his back.

Stealth

The night is dark: Kill 12 enemies without getting detected.
Self explanatory.


Snapping turtle: Kill an enemy with CQC from prone camo.


When you sit still for a moment while prone (not on manmade surfaces), you can cover yourself with the soil below.


With this, you need to kill an unsuspecting guard. For this, find any kind of stray guard and make them come towards you with bullet casings. Be careful to only alert one guard.


Then quickly cover yourself and wait, don't move. The guard may start spotting you, but don't worry.


When he's in range, the Neutralize prompt will appear.


Sting like a bee: Kill a Breacher, a Rocket Gunner and a Sniper with CQC while in stealth.
You don't need to kill all three in the same location or same session.
Panther's technique "Cloak & Run" can help you.

Just make sure that you're not completely detected:

• If the detection meter is yellow or orange, you're still good for the achievement.
  
• If it gets to red, it won't count.

After all that, let's focus in the hub for a moment.
Here we'll find a lot of characters, but we'll only need to interact with a few. The most important being...

Maria's Shop

Master Craftsman: Find 40 Blueprints and then buy 5 Weapons on Demand at Maria's.

After getting 40 of them (you can check in the Weapons tab on the Objectives Board), you need to hit C to change the tab in the Build section and buy 5 weapons there.
The ones that cost +15k credits are actual blueprints but not the weapons, so they won't count for the achievement.


Wildland Millionaire: Spend 100.000 Skell Credits.
Self explanatory.


if you're playing with Gear Level turned on, the easiest way of getting credits is selling the weapons you don't use.

Alternatively, for those of us who have that option turned off, remember that almost all chests give Skell credits, but normal ones don't give a lot (~500). So look for the ones that have Skell's icon in them (1000-2000).


A good place to "farm" Skell credits is in the Northern part of Mount Hodgson, in the Cold Lake. You can go to the White Ridge Bivouac and parachute down there.


You can find Opal and Gold Nuggets, which will sell at 250 a piece.

To make them spawn again, quit the game and, when you get back, these items will have respawned.

In the same video he also shows a way to farm by fighting a Behemoth, but that's up to you.

Other

Tell your story: Complete the optional dialog in Erewhon about your past.


At Erewhon, talk to the Ghost War PvP character and choose "Military Past".


After a few lines, you can pick almost any option you want, except the Secret Squirrel one.




There's another character we need to talk to in Erewhon (The Raid one) but I put that one in a following section.

These can be obtained anywhere simply because we need to be inside menus.

Skill Tree

Two-faced Unlock 2 Classes & Four Honor: Unlock 4 Classes.

At the bottom of the Skills section, you'll find 7 different classes. Each one needs 4 skill points to unlock.


Executive perks: Unlock 10 Perks in the Skills menu.
These are the ones with a little backpack icon beside them:

Equipment

Born in the purple (GEAR LEVEL ON): Wear all High-end equipment.
Equip everything with Purple equipment. Legendaries don't count.

If you only have one main weapon slot, go to your settings and change Main Weapon Slots to 2. It won't work with only one.



Lord of War (GEAR LEVEL ON): Equip a legendary weapon.
Even though it's pretty self explanatory, there's a caveat.

There are Signature weapons, with a star in the top left corner, like the ones that the Wolves drop. These ones don't count for the achievement:


The legendary weapons don't have that star, only four stripes. These ones count for the achievement:



This one is mine: Upgrade a weapon to Mark 3.


You need to unlock Mk. 2 and Mk. 3 on the right of the Skills section.


To upgrade you need Weapon parts, so dismantle any gun you don't use or like.
Then take any of your weapons and open the gunsmith.
(This is an example of a Mk. 1 weapon with no upgrades)

Lastly, upgrade each slot.
(This is an example of a Mk. 3 weapon)


Prolific gunsmith: Upgrade 20 weapon intermarks in total.
Kind of connected to the last achievement, also in the gunsmith, invest the materials in the weapon upgrades (the squares). Each one is an intermark.


Attachments Master: Find 30 Attachments and then equip one in the gunsmith.
Equip an attachment to your gun, but make sure it isn't one that you've had unlocked since the beginning of the game.
The attachments that you buy from Maria count towards this achievement.


Absolute Mastery: Reach Rank 10 with any class.
Each class has different rank up challenges to get to higher ranks.


You can pin them to have an easier time tracking them.

There are only two "game modes" that we'll need to worry about.

Co-op

You need someone else to get these achievements.
Make sure you join public matchmaking so people can join your game or viceversa:

Squad Goals: Finish 3 missions in Coop.
Self explanatory.

Synchronized and deadly: Kill an enemy shortly after another player in Coop has killed one.
Self explanatory. You may even get it by accident while playing.


In the belly of the beast (GEAR LEVEL ON): Enter the Raid.
Needs 4 players in total.

Talk to Jericho in Erewhon, she's near Schulz's tent. She has the purple icon that says "Raids".
When you talk to her, select the option "Enter the raid" but it won't pop up yet.


You'll get the mission "Investigate Golem Island" and "Enter the raid". These two, for our purposes, are kind of linked, so follow the indications of the first one. At one point you'll see the icon "Raid entrance"


There, everyone will need to interact with a monolith-like cube:


From there, you'll get to this screen and get the achievement. This means that you don't even need to start the raid unless you want to.

PvP

These ones are unlocked in Ghost War and they're self explanatory. The only caveat is that you need GEAR LEVEL ON to play this mode:

Entry-level combat: Win 1 match in Ghost War (Standard).



Swiss Army Killer: Kill an enemy in Ghost War as the Panther, Assault, Field Medic and Sharpshooter.

The Leftovers

I didn't know how to catalogue this one, so it's here.

A hero of our time: Reach Level 30.
It'll most likely come naturally by playing. If it doesn't, try to make use of the skills that give an XP boost.

Couple tips:
For Attachment Master - you start the game with 33 attachment so you need to be at 63+ for the achievement to pop.
Similar for Master Craftsman - not all of them count, only the ones that have a map icon when you mouse over them in collections count towards the 40 needed, so you might need 62+ blueprints until it will count.

Coop achievement about raid is trash why it's so important to have 4 players in lobby bruh good guide, but about Convoy driver u can just use gadget drone killer and use it to kill the convoy driver, helicopter driver kill is easy just use long range stuff Sniper Rifle or Semi-Automatic rifle,I use automatic rifle helicopters flies time to time, all of achievements hard but coop achievement is most shitty.
