Rummy is played all over the world, and many countries have their own spin on Rummy with different rules and mechanics. Gameplay-wise, Rummy is believed to be a close relative to Chinese Mahjong and Japanese Koi-Koi. Over its rich history, Rummy has spawned hundreds of different variations.

Since modern times, there's been a tradition to introduce “silly” spins on classic games like Poker, Blackjack, Connect Four and Peggle. Spiced Rummy aims to do just that to the classic game of Rummy.

Spiced Rummy introduces two “modifier” suits that make standard Rummy both more strategic yet more erratic. Spiced Rummy gives players more options to directly interact with other players, as screwing over your peers is always the best part of many party games like Monopoly and Mario Party.
