XP 4 VX Ace Outside A2

Description
After spending many hours working with the VXAce RTP tileset I have essentially come to the conclusion that I don't much care for it and have begun an attempt at converting the XP RTP tileset to the VX Ace format.

This is no doubt going to be a long and tedious process as I cannot find any reasonable tool for converting the XP tiles to VX format [largely due to different autotile size].

If anybody out there is very good with GIMP script it could probably be scripted--

Hopefully not illegal, if so just piss and moan and have it removed.

Other updates coming soon, hopefully I can get the majority of the tiles... I personally think they look much better and wonder why they opted for the super square look... it doesn't work well with landscapes.

This is a work in progress, some tiles might not work pixel perfect... most of this is due to the change in autotile size from 96 x 128 to 64 x 96. Go figure. Enjoy.

First time using the workshop and while I believe the tiles are correctly included I am not positive... so if you download this and get nothing but the default tiles do let me know so I can begin the process of figuring out how to appropriately include them.

I found it, thanks, i feel stupid, the one place i forgot to look, my documents :P

Well, so far as I can tell they should be in the Documents/RPGMakerVXAce/XPOutside directory. Now-- since I've only ever uploaded these files and never downloaded them, I'm not sure whether it gets installed like DLC content does [Program Files/Steam etc. etc.] or whether it treats it like any other content you've created [My Documents].

I think they would have pissed at me or sent me some kind of notification if they wanted the file removed-- so that doesn't seem a likely case.

Anyhow- if you cannot come across it in any of the aforementioned directories I'll just zip it all up and stash it somewhere online for you. All previous disclaimers still apply, including that I cannot fathom a reason why you could not use this commercially or otherwise if you indeed have a license to RPGMakerXP. If you don't have a license to RPGMakerXP, take heed-- it's a gray area at the very best. Any work that I've put in you're free to use, for what it's worth.

Just let me know.

Both, i can't find it in my directory via computer files, and its not installing, or at least i can't find it.

Unfortunately I don't really have an answer for either of you-- when you say you can't find it do you mean that Steam won't allow it to be downloaded and installed or that you cannot find the files to use with RPGM?

I'm sorry if you might of had to answer this question before but are we able to use your original content for commercial use?

See comment below regarding use. Hell with it, I've typed this much: If you have a license to RPGMXP they are presumably for use in commercial projects. If not take heed. Any work of mine that I've done with this tile set I have no problem with you using commercially.
