How to play CS2 Stretched Resolution

In this Guide im gonna show you how to play CS2 with a Stretched Resolution!

Setting up Display

To play stretched Resolution you have to make sure your Display is configured correctly.

For NVIDIA GPU's:

1. Right click on your Desktop and select "NVIDIA Control Panel".
2. In the Control panel go the "Adjust desktop size and position".
3. Select your main Display and make sure your Scaling mode is set to Full-screen + "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs" checked.
4. Apply the Settings and Exit.


For AMD GPU's:

1. Right click on your Desktop and select "AMD Software"
2. Navigate to the Display Tab
3. Set the "Scaling Mode" to Full panel
4. Make sure that AMD FreeSync is OFF
5. Set the GPU Scaling to ON
6. Navigate to Gaming -> Games, find CS2 rightclick on it and select "Remove" and then Refresh the Tab.
7. Find CS2 Again and Click on it, and make sure that AMD FreeSync is OFF and Scaling Mode to Full panel.

Done.

Setting up CS2

Now when your Display is Configured correctly you can use a Stretched Resolution!

1. Go to your Ingame Settings -> Video -> Video
2. Then make sure your Display Mode is set to "Fullscreen", then apply
3. Set your Aspect Ratio to "4:3"
4. Set your Resolution to whatever you like. (Mine is 1440x1080)
And dont forget to set your Refresh Rate to the Highest Option!

Possible Issues

While changing the Ingame Video Settings, the Game might Bug out and ruin your Resolution (like when everything is moved)

To fix that:
1. Go to your Steam Library
2. Rightclick on Counter-Strike 2 and select Properties.
3. Enter this in the Start Option textfield: -w [width] -h [height]
(Basically if you have a 1920x1080 Display enter -w 1920 -h 1080)


Then just start your Game and the issue should be fixed!
