Fellowship of the Torch is a thematic sequel to the Vagabond. It shares many of the Vagabond's components and mechanics. However the Fellowship is not an attempt to tweak or balance the Vagabond, and it is a separate faction in its own right. Influenced by Root RPG, the Fellowship places more focus on Relationships and Quest mechanics when compared to the Vagabond.

It's not recommended to play with both the Fellowship and a Vagabond.

Playing the Fellowship of the Torch

As the Fellowship of the Torch, embark on an adventure, uncovering the Woodland’s mysteries, and influencing the new society that is taking root. Score points by going on daring Quests, and carving your legend with both Fame and Villainy.

Completing a quest rewards you with items, cards, victory points and new companions. Your Adventuring Party is a Motley Crew recruited from the Woodland’s denizens and even members of rival factions. Each Companion possesses unique abilities, growing your potential in battle, crafting, and quests.

The politics of the Woodland is a tangled web of alliances and rivalries that your Fellowship must navigate. Forge your Relationships with factions for mutual gain or calculated advantages. Deliver Aid to Allied factions to receive items, or join them in battle to score points. Conversely, embrace a more Villainous path and score points by removing warriors of Hostile factions.

At the heart of your Fellowship is The Torch, a legendary artifact of boundless utility. Use it to explore ancient Ruins, unlock special abilities, and complete difficult quests. Whether you are remembered as legendary Heroes or infamous villains, the adventure is yours to decide. Step boldly and let the torch guide your way!
