A Noob's Guide to 100% Achievements in PUBG (Eng.)

This is meant to serve as a comprehensive guide for players of all levels to 100% the game purely in terms of unlocking all achievements as presented on Steam.

As a complete noob to PUBG, I started off on a clean slate and have since unlocked every achievement through trial and error. As such, there may be easier ways to unlock each achievement - but these are what I found to be the most effective.

It took me roughly 80-100 in-game hours with this method, but using this, you might be able to 100% the game in a much shorter duration.

The key to efficiently unlocking these achievements is to play on Casual Mode as this mode has a majority of bots in the lobby who you can easily farm for kills. You will likely only encounter actual players in the late game or in hot drops (occasionally).

You get three tries in casual mode every day. And for certain achievements, playing solos, squads, or solo-queuing in squads may be the best approach depending on the achievement. I will note this in the details for each achievement.

Keep in mind that many achievements can be hunted simultaneously such as suppressor + weapon-specific kills, vehicle-related achievements, carepackage related achievements, etc.

Certain achievements may take priority over others given how rare certain items are. If you find a crossbow in any game, prioritize getting those kills over others since it is much harder to find a crossbow to loot.

You can also try playing in regular matches for certain achievements, but this makes grinding a bit harder.

Let's dive right in.

Last Survivor

Win a game 10 times.

Tactic: Best done through natural progression as you play. While you grind other achievements each game, try to win every game naturally.

If this is in your last few achievements to unlock, play Squads in Casual Mode since you will likely match with other non-bot teammates. It will be much easier to get a Chicken Dinner this way. Win 10 times to unlock.

NOTE: if you die in Squads, do not leave the game, and if your team ends up winning, this still counts as a win even if you died.

Recommended game mode: Squads in Casual Mode

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

Obtain a Chicken Dinner in Solo.

Tactic: Best done through natural progression as you play. While you grind other achievements each game, try to win every game naturally.

If this is in your last few achievements to unlock, play Squads in Casual Mode since you will likely match with other non-bot teammates. It will be much easier to get a Chicken Dinner this way.

NOTE: if you die in Squads, do not leave the game, and if your team ends up winning, this still counts as a win even if you died.

Recommended game mode: Squads in Casual Mode

Dynamic Duo

Obtain a Chicken Dinner in Duos.

Tactic: This can be a bit more difficult as Duos is not available in Casual Mode. However, it is still very achievable. If you do not have a friend to try this with, eventually you will queue with someone quite good who can win the game even if you die. Just make sure to not leave if you die mid-game. It took me only several tries to win one.

Recommended game mode: Regular Duos (not available in Casual Mode)

Fantastic Four

Obtain a Chicken Dinner in Squads.

Tactic: Best done through natural progression as you play. While you grind other achievements each game, try to win every game naturally.

If this is in your last few achievements to unlock, play Squads in Casual Mode since you will likely match with other non-bot teammates. It will be much easier to get a Chicken Dinner this way.

NOTE: if you die in Squads, do not leave the game, and if your team ends up winning, this still counts as a win even if you died.

Recommended game mode: Squads in Casual Mode

Top 10

Reach the top 10 10 times.

Tactic: Best done through natural progression as you play. While you grind other achievements each game, try to get to the top 10 each game.

This is quite easy and can be unlocked quickly. To ensure you reach top 10, try to avoid hot-drops or areas with heavy traffic/enemies and you can easily sneak into the top 10.

Recommended game mode: Any mode in casual mode

Pacifist

Reach the top 10 without killing anyone.

Tactic: This is quite easy and can be unlocked quickly. If you are playing in Solo, drop into an area with few buildings or enemies, and avoid high-traffic areas until you reach the top 10. You can go into the middle of the circle early and hide in a hidden area until you unlock it.

If you have teammates or are playing in Squads, you can also be the driver and avoid combat while your teammates clean up any enemies/bots.

Recommended game mode: Solo in Casual Mode

CQB Master

Kill 200 players with a shotgun, a submachine gun, and/or a pistol.

Tactic: Best done by keeping an SMG with you. I found that the MP5 and the UMP worked best. Just kill bots and farm as many kills until you hit 200.

If you don't want to use SMGs, you can also keep one of the required guns off-hand and down enemies with any other gun. Once you wiggle their health down as much as possible, pull out your pistol and kill the downed enemy with it. Repeat until you hit the required number of kills needed.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queueing Squads in Casual Mode since players/bots come in packs of 4

CQB Expert

Kill 50 players with a shotgun, a submachine gun, and/or a pistol.

Tactic: Best done by keeping an SMG with you. I found that the MP5 and the UMP worked best. Just kill bots and farm as many kills until you hit 50.

If you don't want to use SMGs, you can also keep one of the required guns off-hand and down enemies with any other gun. Once you wiggle their health down as much as possible, pull out your pistol and kill the downed enemy with it. Repeat until you hit the required number of kills needed.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queueing Squads in Casual Mode since players/bots come in packs of 4

CQB Novice

Kill 10 players with a shotgun, a submachine gun, and/or a pistol.

Nade King Master

Kill 50 players with grenades.

Tactic: Best way to unlock this is via Solo Queuing in Casual Mode and by downing enemies first before finishing them off with a grenade.

Land in hot-drop areas and immediately begin scavenging for as many grenades as you can.

Once you have as many grenades as you could find, find and down enemies with any gun. Once the enemy/bot is downed, fire several shots into them to reduce their health down as much as possible, and throw a grenade within their vicinity. If the bots are crawling a direction, try to throw the grenade in the direction they are crawling to ensure the grenade detonates near them.

Repeat until you reach the number of required kills. This achievement can take time.

Bonus tip: If there are several enemies near you, down multiple enemies at the same time to kill multiple enemies at once with a single grenade.

Attempting to kill enemies with grenades without downing them is also possible, but can be a lot more difficult as bots can move in random directions.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode since players/bots come in packs of 4

Nade King Expert

Kill 30 players with grenades.

Tactic: Best way to unlock this is via Solo Queuing in Casual Mode and by downing enemies first before finishing them off with a grenade.

Land in hot-drop areas and immediately begin scavenging for as many grenades as you can.

Once you have as many grenades as you could find, find and down enemies with any gun. Once the enemy/bot is downed, fire several shots into them to reduce their health down as much as possible, and throw a grenade within their vicinity. If the bots are crawling a direction, try to throw the grenade in the direction they are crawling to ensure the grenade detonates near them.

Repeat until you reach the number of required kills. This achievement can take time.

Bonus tip: If there are several enemies near you, down multiple enemies at the same time to kill multiple enemies at once with a single grenade.

Attempting to kill enemies with grenades without downing them is also possible, but can be a lot more difficult as bots can move in random directions.

Nade King Novice

Kill 10 players with grenades.

Tactic: Best way to unlock this is via Solo Queuing in Casual Mode and by downing enemies first before finishing them off with a grenade.

Once you have as many grenades as you could find, find and down enemies with any gun. Long and Winding Road

Kill 1000 players by any means.

Tactic: Unlocked via natural progression and playing the game and while attempting the other achievements. This just takes time. Keep playing games or hop on TDM in Arcade mode to also have those kills count towards your total.

Recommended game modes: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode since players/bots come in packs of 4 to maximize kills or Team Deathmatch in Arcade Mode.

Collateral Damage

Kill 100 players by any means.

Tactic: Unlocked via natural progression and playing the game and while attempting the other achievements.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode since players/bots come in packs of 4.

Devil Inside Me

Kill 10 players by any means.

Tactic: Unlocked via natural progression and playing the game and while attempting the other achievements.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode since players/bots come in packs of 4.

Blood on My Hands

Kill a player by any means.

If you are having trouble with this achievement, I would recommend trying Goat Simulator instead.

The First Rule Is…

Kill 20 players with bare hands.

Tactic: Best way to unlock this is via Solo Queuing in Casual Mode and by downing enemies first with a gun before finishing them off by holstering your weapons and punching them to death with your fists.

Land in hot-drop areas and look for as many enemies as you can.

Find and down enemies with any gun. Once the enemy/bot is downed, fire several shots into them to reduce their health down as much as possible, then switch to your fists and kill them with your bare hands.

Repeat until you reach the number of required kills.

Attempting to kill enemies immediately after you all land from the plane is a risky option as you can lose a fist fight.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode since players/bots come in packs of 4

Killing Spree

Kill at least 4 players in a single match.

Tactic: Best way to unlock this is via Solo Queuing in Casual Mode. Landing in an area with several enemies/bots will be your best chance at unlocking this. Find 4 bots and kill them in a single match.

If you are a noob and see that a player may not be a bot, pay attention to their movement. If they do not move in a straight line or back and forth in place, this may be a real player. Avoid them and find other bots to kill.

Trigonometry Involved

Headshot and kill 10 enemy players with a sniper rifle.

Tactic: Best done by keeping a sniper with you and using it to finish off downed enemies. You can also use snipers to headshot bots, as well.

If you don't want to use a sniper, you can also keep one on hand and down enemies with any other gun. Once you wiggle their health down as much as possible, pull out your sniper and kill the downed enemy/bot with a headshot. Repeat until you hit the required number of kills needed.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queueing Squads in Casual Mode since players/bots come in packs of 4

Okay, Now I'm Ready

Equip a Lv.3 Helmet, Military Vest, and Backpack in 10 matches.

Tactic: Do not try to find all three of these separately. This will make this achievement significantly harder.

Drop in the middle of the map to ensure the circle falls relatively within your vicinity or within driving distance. Once it appears, wait for an airdrop to appear and take a car to drive to the drop. Each care package you manage to reach to will have all three items to equip.

Repeat this 10 times to unlock the achievement.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode

First Blood

Get the first kill of a match.

Tactic: I unlocked this relatively easy by dropping immediately once possible. I chose the nearest drop with a building and once I released my parachute, looked around for other bots around me to land near.

After landing near them, try to find a gun to kill them with as soon as possible or (if no gun is near you) beat them to death with your fists as fast as possible. You may oftentimes lose a fistfight, but eventually you will get one.

Recommended game mode: Solo or Squads in Casual Mode

Shoot the Knee

Kill 10 players with the crossbow.

Tactic: Best way to unlock this is via Solo Queuing in Casual Mode and by downing enemies first before finishing them off with a crossbow.

Land in hot-drop areas and immediately begin scavenging for a crossbow as much as possible. You may not find one, but eventually, it will pop up every few games.

Once you find one, find and down enemies with any gun. Once the enemy/bot is downed, fire several shots into them to reduce their health down as much as possible, and fire a cross bow at them to finish them off.

Repeat until you reach the number of required kills. This achievement can take time given how hard it is to find a crossbow in game.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode

First Come, First Served

Loot 50 items from the carepackage.

Tactic: Drop in the middle of the map to ensure the circle falls relatively within your vicinity or within driving distance. Once it appears, wait for an airdrop to appear and take a car to drive to the drop. Take every single item from the carepackage even if you don't need them for the progress to be registered.

You can then switch the items back after you loot them if you don't need any items.

Repeat this 50 times to unlock the achievement. You can also loot multiple carepackages in one game.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode

Agent 48

Kill 50 players with suppressed weapons.

Tactic: Can be achieved through natural progression of the game as suppressors are not too rare. If you find suppressors early, find a gun to equip it to and use any other gun to down/kill enemies.

If you find a suppressor for a weaker gun or don't want to use it for whatever reason to down enemies, you can also use the suppressed gun to finish a downed enemy.

Repeat this 50 times to unlock the achievement.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode

Now You See Me, Now You Don't

Equip a ghillie suit for the first time.

Tactic: Drop in the middle of the map to ensure the circle falls relatively within your vicinity or within driving distance. Once it appears, wait for an airdrop to appear and take a car to drive to the drop. Certain drops will contain the ghillie suit for you to equip. Repeat until you find one that has it.

You can also kill an enemy you find with a ghillie suit and equip it after you kill them to unlock this.

Recommended game mode: Any mode in Casual Mode

Airborne

Jump out from an airplane 101 times.

Can be achieved through natural progression of playing 101 games.

Fury Road

Kill 10 players with a gun while in a vehicle.

Tactic: Best way to unlock this is via Solo Queuing in Casual Mode and by downing enemies first before finishing them off with a gun while you move to the passenger/back seats.

If playing solo, grab a vehicle after gearing up. Drive around until you see enemies/bots to run over. After you down an enemy by running them over, get in the passenger seat and shoot the downed enemy/bot with your gun to receive progress. This is the easiest method I took.

If you are playing squads, have your teammate(s) drive you around to find bots to shoot and kill while you are in the passenger/back seats.

Guardian Angel

Revive a knocked-downed teammate.

Can be unlocked easily through playing any game of Squads or Duos. Eventually, a teammate will be needed to be revived.

Recommended game mode: Duos or Squads

Ghost

Equip a suppressed weapon in every weapon slot. Let's find out which weapon is suppressed!

This one is a bit tricky. Might need some luck from the RNGods, but can be eventually achieved.

For this achievement you need to find and equip three suppressors at the same time. One for your pistol and two for your main weapons which could be an AR, DMR, or SMG. This will be dependent on RNG and whether you get good drops wherever you're looting.

SMG / Pistol suppressors are now interchangeable with each other. This means a pistol suppressor can be attached to an SMG and an SMG suppressor can be attached to a pistol.

Tip: Check the loot on players you killed as it's more common to take a suppressor from a recent kill who might have had one on hand.

Bonus: VSS and the Crossbow also counts as suppressed weapons!

Don't Pan Me Bro!

Kill another player with the frying pan.

This is quite easy. Equip a pan, and wait until you down an enemy/bot with a gun. Finish the downed enemy off with the pan to unlock this achievement.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode

Fast and Furious

Kill 10 players by hitting them with a vehicle.

Tactic: Best way to unlock this is via Solo Queuing in Casual Mode and by running over bots.

If playing solo, grab a vehicle after gearing up. Drive around until you see enemies/bots to run over. After you down an enemy by running them over, make a u-turn and hit/kill the downed bot with the vehicle.

Repeat this 10 times to unlock the achievement.

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode

You Complete Me

Wear the outfit of a dead player.

This achievement is really easy. Kill an enemy/bot and loot a piece of their clothing and equip it to unlock this achievement.

You can also loot the body of a dead player that you stumble upon.

Recommended game mode: Any

Cruising with the Enemy

Get into a vehicle where an enemy player is already in.

Tactic: Best way to unlock this is via Solo Queuing in Casual Mode and by downing bots/enemies and picking them up and placing them into your car.

After gearing up, find a vehicle with multiple seats, and find a nearby enemy/bot. Down them with any gun. Once they are downed, pick them up and place them in the passenger/back seats to unlock this achievement.

Do not waste your time trying to find enemy players driving in cars as this is significantly more difficult (unless you are a masochist).

Recommended game mode: Solo Queuing Squads in Casual Mode

Health Junkie

Charge your boost gauge to the max with energy drink and painkiller overdose.

Can be obtained by using a single Adrenaline Syringe, as using one puts your boost gauge to 100% automatically.

If you can't find an Adrenaline Syringe, you can also get to full boost by using either two painkillers (60 boost each), three energy drinks (40 boost each), or one painkiller and one energy drink (exactly 100 boost.)
