Description
Adds a new Tier IV Materium-Astral Tome to the game.
-Combine the repelling Powers of the Materium and Astral Plane to create Crystal Magic.-

This tome is centered around benefitting from sundered defense and protect against magic attackers.
Includes:
-1 Comabt echantment
-2 unit enchantments
-1 friendly army woldmap spell
-1 special city structure
-1 special province improvement which also function as teleporter
-1 battlefield summon by battle mages (to answer high demand for more crystals)

Lore
Deep in his Realm the Arch-Smith of the Golddwarves, Sindir Coppefist worked tirelessly in his Tower. Surrounded by broken and sparkling crystals, the former Apprentice of the famous Geomancer Fangir Stoneborn tried to do the unthinkable - Combine the total opposite poles Astral and Materium.
In the way the nature channels Magic through crystalline Mana Nodes he knew there must be a way, even no one else tried it before and knowing all of his fellow Godir would laugh at him for his folish endeavor - maybe even his former Master. Long ago Fangir Stoneborne left the Dwarven Deep Kingdom to research the Astral Sea. He abandoned the Earth magic he mastered for the pure form of Magic, floating through the Astral Sea. Sindir Copperfist never understood this, as for him the Magic centering around the basement of existence - the Earth or wider spoken Materium - was the one most perfect and powerful of all.
But when one day his view fell on one of the Mana Node surrounding his Tower he suddenly got a vision... why keep his former Masters new favorite and his own seperate, when the nature itselft basically combines it? Just because old conventions devide them? New inventions have always seemed impossible, so he just needs to show them all that it´s not!

Compatibility
No base game files were modified. This mod simply adds new tome skills and is compatible with every mod.

Actually now I´m happy that this tome is completely done (besides some possible balance changes maybe)
So currently I have no plans, not even ideas for future tomes tbh

So I answered your call for more crystals.
Units and crystal armor stuff is done by the DLC, so here now you get a crystalline battlefield summon for your racial battlemages only. Hope ya enjoy!

It´s not that I don´t liked your idea myself completely
But sadly the geomancy skin has 1 of the cons I metioned and tried to avoid,
it is not possible to have both, this new and the earthkin race transformation.
I would have loved to combine both and my tome ^^"

And that´s why I´m super happy with my choosen path. Yeah it has some similarities to runemagic, but that´s intended.
As the new giant king dlc brings you exactly what you decribed you want to see:
big crystal monsters, race transformation with crystals coming out of your units...
I would be pretty sad if I would have done this, just to be replaced by the official devs work.
Btw. as far as I know these "strong changes" are only possbile by race transformations, making the effect limited to the race. I like to view the crystal magic as something true magical, not biological, so I stayed away from race transformations. There are already a bunch of cool RTs like f.e. earthkin (what you meant with rock skin?) and I feared to "overload" the units and don´t want to replace these cool stuff with mine.
BUT as I said, please stay tuned, I´m working on big crystals comming to the battle field... just in a different way. Too much of the same is boring ;)

yep i notice now the new tomb of geomany is exactly what im describing haha just not blue crystals. the geomancy skin even looks like the armor i proposed xD

personally i was expecting dark souls style crystals. like big crystals growing out of people like the rock armor currently in the game. or a crystal lizard style units or just a big crystal monster. is it hard to make enchantment skins? specifically like if you took the rock skin from tomb of rock and made it a big blue crystal instead.

As I expected you now get more crystals with the giant king dlc. This tome centers around the use of crystals to enhance your magic, not to be or become crystal yourself.
Also there are already enough units, that´s why I don´t plan to add more.
However I do have an idea to give you more crystals, stay tubed ;)
