Particle System Stars

Description
I recently thought about starting a little space-based RPG and for scenes where the players are arriving in a new solar system, it could be nice to have the entire system modeled as a visual representation. However, a perfectly round star
created by just pasting a star texture onto a spherical custom model would be boring and weird, since stars are made out of gas.
So I found a tutorial on how to make a more realistic star with unity particle effects, and here you have the result! There are good mods for planets already, so go and find one and use it to create beautiful solar systems.

Included are a red, yellow and blue star, with a roughly to scale representation of Pollux, Sirius A, Sol and Proxima Centauri as an example. The stars can be freely scaled to create whatever star you may need.

If you don't like the corona effect, it can be turned off by switching states.

That looks stellar, pun non intended

Inspector de Patas, I did a quick Saturn by modifying some existing files with textures from the web, can send it to you or explain how I did it, not really worth making an extra workshop mod for it I think.

Inspector de Patas, I will think about it but can't promise anything.

Very, very cool. Hope you're exploring more particle assets! I've only experimented with them in Unity a few times but there's definitely a lack of useful particle effects on the workshop.

Thanks for the new toys Barry, love lots of your work!

There is a dark hole model but not one with it's accretion disk. There are no planets like saturn with a ring, a comet that leaves a stella when you drag it around or that you can set it to throw the stella to some direction, it would be nice to see some particle nebula clouds, also a completely urbanized planet like Coruscant from start wars, a planet could use a texture with some small glowing lights or areas.

Inspector de Patas, as I mentioned in the description, there are adequate planet models out there already. What would you want in terms of other planets? What do you think is lacking?

Beautiful! If you ever make more planets let me know I could use them for my star wars rpg
