The Official Names of all TF2 Mercenaries

Attack

Scout

While we knew Scout's first name was Jeremy, the release of the 7th comic revealed his last name too.



Scout's full name is: Jeremy Willis

Soldier

The soldier has been referred to in a few different ways.

Grave Matters, page 14:

WAR! Comic, page 16:

Soldier's unconfirmed full name/title: Sergeant-Barrister Jane Doe

Pyro

We will never know Pyro's name because of the running gag that Pyro might be a girl (which is never confirmed).

Defense

Demoman

Thanks to his mother, we know Demoman's full name.

Ring of Fired, page 58:

Demoman's full name: Tavish Finnegan DeGroot

Heavy

A Cold Day in Hell, page 63

Heavy's name: Misha - short for Mikhail (last name unknown)

Engineer

Engineer also holds 11 PhDs, thus giving him the title Dr.

Loose Canon, page 2

Engineer's full name/title: Dr. Dell Conagher

Support

Medic

The comics reveal that Medic's name is Ludwig.

The Naked and the Dead, page 208:

In an email to Jay Pinkerton, we found out his last name as well. (Found from the official TF2 Wikipedia)



Medic's full name: Herbert Ludwig

Sniper

Blood in the Water, page 88

Sniper's name/title: Mr. Mundy (Birth name: Mun-dee)

Spy

Spy's name is still unknown. Since he is a master of disguise we will likely never know his true identity.

Pretty sure Sniper’s actual name is Richard or ‘Rick’, because of his ‘Ritzy Rick’s Hair Fixative’ cosmetic. So his full name would be Richard ‘Rick’ Mundee.

Is it confirmed Scout took his mother's last name? If Scout's last name is his fathers (Spy), then that would make Spy "Mr. Willis."
