Description
This is an experimental game concept for 2 players.
This game is a work in progress and will likely change as time goes on.

Quintessence has very light deck building but is best described as a Battle Tableau Builder. Combos in this game are quite meaty and can have some HUGE runaway effects in the right hands. If you find a broken combination of card / Aspects that feels unbeatable, don't feel to confident as there is likely a heavy counter to your play.

@icecup HOLY SHIT how did i miss that?!?!?! Instant effects can only happen at most once per turn! that is correct, ill add this right away!

Instant effects should only activate at maximum once per turn. Using Stack, Bolster, and Flip, many infinite combos are available and so easily reachable that I discovered one on my first game. This immediately loses the game for any player who is not doing the same.

@yammers yeah they are not cards, the card objects do not operate the way this game requires. There should be a bag to put your deck into. THOUGH you did mention something inst loading, so it might be the models for the "bags" you put the tile cards in. I will look into this issue.

the tile for clarity are being used because you can stack them face up and face down without them trying to snap to a deck and change the order of the stacked cards. This is very important for this game.

Additionally, whenever I load up the game, it's failing to load a certain model, I don't know what model, but I'm being notified of it.

The "Cards" seem to be setup more as tokens it seems? They don't fall into a deck, and they can't easily be shuffled, it makes shuffling them a bit of a pain, is this intentional or am I doing something wrong?

@florian.benning currently no LOL but there is a discord for another game i made (Kobolds: second expedition)

i have plans to make it a universal discord for all my board games, but for now its just kobolds, tho sometimes we talk bout Quintessence there (me and like the 3 other people who play it LOLOL)

Shifting a single card 3 spaces to the right is the same as shifting it 2 spaces to the left anyway, am I missing something?

@blackbird LMAO you are SO RIGHT! i buffed defender a bunch!! the Aspect defender 5 and defender 6 were upgraded!!

@sycamorph to answer your first question, only the top cards base power is considered, i added some clarification to the stack rule.
For your second question, thats part of the Lunar set and is ment to pair with its Eternal effect of shifting a single card.
