Gracias. :-)

for everybody in this comment section. You can always create bigger maps by changing the game files but the game is not made for such big maps. Or at least not yet.

I got 64 GB Ram M2 Ryzen 7950 3D 4080 Super, it takes 5 minutes to load and has about 45 fps before doing anything.
So I did not even start to play assuming it will go downhill from here...

Thank you for the effort though.

I dont even get the option for huge on map creation. Even checked the mods tab and it has the checkmark.

64 GB RAM and an M.2 SSD with up to 6600MB/s!
Even after 15 minutes of waiting, unfortunately nothing happened.

does your game also freeze with the map sizes provided by the game without mods? also, game window needs to be focused for loading to happen. and ignore windows bullshit "application is not reacting" for this game during load screens. it takes a while and does not tell windows that it is still working

Same thing happened to me, the game freezes on loading the map. (64gb RAM, on SSD)

sounds like you potentially have not enough RAM? as Xaxoon correctly stated, game draws a lot of resources by its own. bigger map only increases that. not much I can do about it though. if your system cannot handle the big map, you will have to play on smaller maps, sorry

When I start a new game with this map size I only get a loading screen of death!

I have not used any other mods
