Buying the DLC
It's $10.

I would say it's very much worth it, though be warned, it can be difficult.
Getting To The DLC
You can't start directly in the DLC, you need to first complete the quest "A Core Concept". (If you have a save where you already did this, you won't need to activate a core) This mission requires you to activate a planet's/moon's core/Gateway Engine. (I suggest doing Sylva's or Desolo's core, due to the easy material needed (Quartz for Sylva, Zinc (smelted sphalerite) for Desolo) and Desolo for being very easy to get to the core) If that's not helpful enough, I found this guide, maybe it can help

Once you finish that mission, you will get a new mission called "Heya". Follow what the missions say (they will be simple) until you get the one called "No Place Like Home" The last quest you did gave you a machine dubbed "RUBY".
Now you need to go to a non-Sylva planet. (Bring RUBY!) I suggest getting some kind of vehicle to put RUBY on since they use power. On the planet, you must search for a storm.

Use your compass to help. Go to the storm, but be careful, spend too much time in it, and you will get hacked, and you will start suffocating. The only way to stop being hacked is to go outside the storm, or in the safe zone in the eye of it.

Using your vehicle (or platform if you want), Bring RUBY to one of the weird tornado like things.

Don't worry, they are safe, RUBY will start producing storm data. Once RUBY finishes, bring data to a research chamber. Once its researched, you will get a portal to Bl!tz's instance. Once you go through (don't bring items), you will be in a separate save file. (you can access your main save file at any time) That's the end of this section.
Aeoluz

Once you make it through the portal and into Bl!tz's instance, you will be transported to the planet Aeoluz, with a modified shelter. Aeoluz is a very peculiar planet, being the only planet in this solar system, and with strange formations. Aeoluz consists of about 4 (surface) biomes. First is the Boolean Fields.

The characteristics of the Boolean Fields include:
  • Manly a rich royal blue, with hints of orange an pink
  • Lashleafs are the only dangerous flora here
  • Strange cubic relics/formations
  • Biome you land in
  • Many small plants
  • Relatively flat
  • Resources consist of Compound, Resin, Organic, and Quartz
Next up is the Aggregate Hills

The characteristics of the Aggregate Hills include:
  • Manly some nice greens, teals and hints of purple
  • Dangerous flora includes Noxious Spewflowers, Daggeroots, and Lashleafs
  • Very forest-like
  • Small mushroom-like and cracked-egg-like plants
  • Hilly
  • Resources consist of the same in the Boolean Fields, but with sphalerite and laterite
3rd biome would be the Cyber Canyon_STOPCRASH(6)

The characteristics of the Cyber Canyon include:
  • Somewhat pale orange
  • Large canyon
  • Relatively flat in and outside the canyon
  • Flora is similar to a desert/savanna
  • Resources consist of Organic, Compound, Resin, Quartz, Wolframite, and Graphite
  • Large pillars in the the canyon, reaching to the height of outside the canyon
  • Dangerous plants include Weezeweeds and Popcoral
Finally, we have Storm Peaks

There are 3 storm peaks biomes, each is a different variation.
Characteristics of all Storm Peaks:
  • Has a storm somewhere in the biome
  • Pink and purple
  • Strange, almost glitchy flora
  • Contains the most, and the rarer resources compared to the nearby surroundings
  • Has Organic, Compound, Resin, Quartz, Malacite, and Laterite
  • Has the hardest terrain of all the surface biomes
  • Mountainous
  • Always appears in rings around the planet, suggesting that the storms move slowly in a pattern (they don't actually move ingame)
  • Various dangerous plants
Unique characteristics of the Alpha Storm Peaks:
  • Contains the Green Alpha Storm
  • Generally the least hard terrain of the Storm Peaks
  • Closest to your spawning location
  • Blocks the way out of the starting Boolean Fields
  • Has Clay
Unique characteristics of the Delta Storm Peaks:
  • Contains the Blue Delta Storm
  • Contains Titanite, and Ammonium
  • Goes across the Prime Meridian of Aeoluz
  • Has a Cyber Canyon going across the entire side facing your spawn location
  • Contains Noxious Cataplants, Daggeroots, and Volatile Cataplants
Unique characteristics of the Zeta Storm Peaks:
  • Contains the Pink/Red Zeta Storm
  • Generally the hardest terrain of the Storm Peaks
  • Contains Lithium and Hematite
  • Very similar to the Alpha Storm Peaks, just on the opposite side of the planet
  • Contains Volatile Attactus
That's all the surface biomes, but now it's time for the 3 cave or inner planets of Aeoluz.
First up: I forgot the name, so I'll just call it the Crystal Caverns

This takes up all of the first layer, it could be called the "middle planet" as Aeoluz is actually 3 planets inside one another. Anyways, here's the fun facts:
  • Small to Gigantic crystal-like formations
  • Teal-Blue color scheme
  • Large pillars leading from the ground to the roof
  • Contains Organic, Compound, Resin, Malachite, Hematite, and Wolframite
Next up we got, guess what, I forgot the name again! I'll just call it the Veridian Layer.
Also I don't have a way to easily get there, so no screenshot. Feel free to get a screenshot for me to use.
Fun fact time:
  • Very green and vibrant
  • Very hilly
  • Has large gravitational purple pillars, the ones that come out of the core (use these to get down to this layer safely
  • Has some hardish rock
Finally, we have the Nucleus

This is a strange layer of floating rocks, all very hard (can't break with drill mod 1), with a purple-ish color palette. They spawn in layers, and lead all the way down to the core.

I'm sure you are tired of this forced Aeoluz geography lesson, so let's move on to the gameplay.
Gameplay
First, you will want to read your missions, and follow instructions. You'll need to find a vault using the vault scanner you got from your first mission here on Aeoluz.

Once you get to the vault, to unlock it, you need to do a puzzle, in which take the dark squares on the glowing part of the vault, then swap spots and rotate them to find their correct place. If in the correct place and orientation, the it will glow an sink slightly into the vault. Now that you've done this, you should start making a simple base.

Most importantly, get a small and medium printer, a smelter, and optionally a research chamber. Try finding some laterite in the nearby Storm Peaks, then smelt it into Aluminum. Now make a tractor and some trailers. Here's what I suggest putting on it. First, put a RUBY on the front (resin + quartz), then I suggest putting some storage and power supply on the trailers. (RUBY uses 5 power when in use) This brings us to the next section, Storms!
Storms
Storms are quite dangerous. Without any protection, you will be hacked within seconds. There are 3 different storms, Alpha (green), Delta (blue), and Zeta (pink/red). They get progressively harder, with harder terrain, more deadly plants, distance from spawn, harder puzzles, more hidden vaults, and amount of data for max protection. To collect storm data, you will need some vehicles. In the last section, I told you how to make a simple, cheap storm vehicle. Before I go into the storms themselves, I'll suggest more vehicle designs for later in game. For the delta storm, you now have access to Wolframite, and therefore, Tungsten. Use this for a chemistry lab, then get some Alpha Storm data, get another piece of Tungsten, then make the Portable D-Cipher. This can allow you to use the storm data on the job, making no need for storage, and return trips to base. Also try to set up your field shelter close to the storm, for easy access. For the final storm, Zeta, I suggest a much bigger vehicle. It's time for the big boy, the large rover. I suggest only making one, then a bunch of medium rovers to make it cheaper, but if you want you can make more. First, add the paver you got from completing the Alpha Storm, then make a drill strength 1 (Ceramic + Tungsten Carbide (Tungsten + Carbon)) to put on as well. Next make a seat for your rover, then a medium soil and fluid canister for soil storage. On the other two spots, put RUBY and the Portable D-Cipher, so it will automatically be put in. Then on the rest of the rovers, put power and storage for things you find and wanna keep on the way to Zeta. Alrighty, It's now time for the storms themselves. They are all very similar, just with some having more dangerous plants. First, so you don't get hacked instantly, you need to find a vault. Use your vault finder and compass to help. The vault for Alpha is right near your base, but the others are harder. Delta's vault is in the Crystal Caverns biome, and Zeta's is in the Veridian Layer. Good luck getting to them, it's very tedious. Next, get some storm data. You need 7 for medium protection and the counter hack key. You need increasing amounts for max protection. 15 data for Alpha, 24 for Delta, and 32 for Zeta. I suggest you do max, as it will be helpful later. Now, with the counter hack key, insert it into the Gateway Chamber in the eye of the storm. You might recognize what happens next. You will need to do a similar puzzle to the vaults. Look around for the spot to put the missing pieces in. Make sure to look all around, on the inside and outside of the Gateway Chamber. Next, power it using your vehicle. (Don't worry, the power needed does not increase) Congrats, you completed that storm, and if this was the Alpha storm, say goodbye to Frank's help.
The Core
Once you finish all the storms, the firewall will go down, and you must get to the core. Use your storm rover to dig down, through Crystal Caverns, through the Veridian Layer, Then through the Nucleus. Once you make it to the core, you will find a weird version of the sun room.

Now you must find the DEM Frank put somewhere near. It can be found on one of the weird arm thingys from the core.

Now all the storms are back, and you must go to the center of each and retrieve the key. (the storm should be around those floating shapes)

The best way would be to use the gravity poles to slingshot yourself to them if you have a hover board, if not the go up to the nucleus layer, and walk so you can dive bomb the center of the storms. Don't worry if you die, Frank gave you a helpful little field shelter.

You need to insert the keys on the same platform as the shelter. Once you do that, the final cutscene will play, and you can talk to Frank's soul. Congrats you did it!
Thanks for Reading!
Thanks for reading this guide, if it helped and you feel like it, like and favorite it. If there are any other Glitchwalkers guides, then I'll probably put them here in case mine didn't help enough.

Here's another guide, It's part russian, and the english part seems to be translated. It doesn't seem to be a guide on glitchwalkers, but seems to address a problem about running a server/playing with friends in the dlc.

one question: what do i do, if i used counterhack key delta at delta gateway terminal, repaired it, powered it, and only after that i unlocked the quest named "little bug" where i need to do the same thing, although i cant anymore

Thanks, I'll add that
JCLEGION 28 Thg11, 2024 @ 6:26pm
i have a update for the guide: You can find clay in the Alpha Storm Peaks
SharkBait  [tác giả] 20 Thg11, 2024 @ 1:32pm
To Anclew: That's weird, delta vaults appear in the crystal caves layers, which would be blocked off by a firewall if you haven't completed the alpha storm, which also gives you the little bug mission. You might need to make a new save, though it could be that the next "mission" from Bl1tz comes from just completing the delta storm. Maybe it would help if you told me how you got a delta rootkit before completing the alpha storm?

to Drunken Elf: That's weird, have you completed the missions Frank gave you up to the one where he asks for you to get storm data? One of his missions gives you RUBY, and that can track storms.
Drunken Elf 20 Thg11, 2024 @ 12:12pm
Hey
What to do if I don't see stroms?
Activated Vesania's core, flight around planet and couldn't find strom. Compass doesn't show storms
Anclew 20 Thg11, 2024 @ 10:52am
what do i do if i already used the counterhack key on the delta gateway before getting the little bug mission and now cant do what it wants because it is already done
SharkBait  [tác giả] 18 Thg11, 2024 @ 1:22pm
Thanks Dispisso, also that's a neat fun fact.

After completing the storyline, I noticed that the triptych generators like in the base game's planet cores are still around in this one, though underneath the floor. If you go to the ceiling of the room shown in the last picture, you will find 3 snap points for resources underneath the floor. When you attach a resource, you'll get a triptych.

I wonder if this is intentional, and what these could be used for. I haven't found snap points for them yet.
