Better English Translation 【BET】

Description
Better English Translation 【BET】 seeks to provide a better English localization.
This is a WIP mod, it is incomplete, considering there is a lot of text to go through.
Due to the nature of mods, it will only work once you enter a world or load a save.

The mod seeks to do three things:
- Fix UI placement of English Text.
- Re-localize poorly translated text.
- Fixing punctuation and grammar.
Names of items, skills, abilities, etc, will remain largely untouched, even if inaccurate.
Inconsistencies and Typos regarding them shall be fixed.
There may be a few changed, but will be reverted in future updates, probably.

Make sure to activate the mod at the main menu with the "Manage Mod" button!


Notice: The game seems to have an issue with automatically updating mods.
Going to the mod folder, deleting mods, will force them to update.
Mods are stored at:
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1696440
And at:
\Steam\steamapps\common\The Matchless KungFu\HMS_00\Content\JavaScript\Mods

Have the Cheat Menu and still find Chinese in it, such as event options? Try out "Cheat Menu Localization Support"~!:

Thank you for the response, I found the solution to my issue in the forums and they seem to have updated the game so crashing is less frequent with controllers.

That's a common glitch with the game. There's two reasons I can see for the game freezing like that:
- Pressing "P" will hide the UI, so it can seem like the game is frozen.
- There's been various bugs with the game that causes freezing during combat, such as when you
deal lots of damage kill something with one hit quickly.

It wouldn't be this mod's fault. The developers were supposed to fix that bug in this update :cleandino:

If you join the official discord, you could report the bug there.

Hi I'm new to the game and just downloaded your mod. Unsure if it's the game being glitchy, but I've noticed after fights with animals (chicken and monkey so far, I'm at the start still) the UI will vanish and the camera will be focused on the final blow then the game just is kinda frozen. I can move the camera around but no menu opens and the fight never ends. Is this a common glitch or could it be this mod? Thanks!

Even if it says the mod is out of date, it should not actually matter with this mod, since it's only changing text.

The game also downloads mods strangely, so sometimes it takes a bit of time for the game to actually update them.

you updated the mod. and i deleted it in the workshop folder like you said. but its still telling me its out of date. Im assuming its just from the patches the dev released and it shouldnt matter?
