Beneath the World Below

Beneath the World Below is a content-oriented (though currently still limited) MOD that introduces new underground creatures and mechanics, crafting a whole new gameplay experience centered around the Caves. Currently, it mainly focuses on worm-related content:

Optimized Depths Worm: Reimagined as a seasonal cave boss like those on the surface. It invades the caves in Autumn. The knockback and stun from its spikes are less frequent (but still serve as a punishment to discourage tanking). Defeating it yields exclusive materials for crafting new items.

All-new worm raid enemies: Yellow Worm, Green Worm, Orange Worm, Ancient Abyssal Worm... ready for you to challenge.

Exclusive items: "Cave Eater", Worm Trap, Tunnel Worm, Artificial Wormhole

Territorial Mega Abyssal Worm BOSS: A high-risk, high-reward boss with summoning mechanics, trading elements, and exclusive terrain generation.

Year of the Cave Worm event: Adds the Vermiculation Flute to slightly enrich the currently limited content.

Extensive configuration options: Freely adjust creature spawns, strength, loot, and compatibility with existing worlds.

This MOD is tuned by default for experienced Don't Starve Together players familiar with most of the game's content. It may be challenging, but many settings are configurable so you can adjust the values to suit your preferred difficulty.

New worms introduced by this MOD will not naturally generate in existing save maps.

"Territorial Mega Worm Terrain Restoration" should only be used once, otherwise duplicate generation may occur.

If your server crashes when the Worm BOSSes appears and you are using a combat range indicator MOD, please replace it with my custom version:
Display Attack Range -- Great Depths Worm Adapted(click to open) to resolve the issue.
