Introduction

"Rainy state southwest of Canada. Several large cities with strong military presence. Tourist attractions include Seattle, golf, and racing. Recommended for intermediate survivors."

"A darker map set somewhere in the United States, with many pine trees, mountains, cover, and height variation. This location was better prepared for the apocalypse, and the military attempted to fortify several locations."
Nelson's Trello

Washington is one of five official maps in Unturned 3 along with PEI, Yukon, Russia, and Germany. It is a dark map based on the state of Washington. Before its release, an update (3.12.2.0) was issued, introducing new vehicles and weapons to prepare for the map's launch. The map features ten military locations and is specifically designed for player-versus-player combat.

Map size: Medium (2048 m²)

A decent map that brought a lot of new features to Unturned at the time. Washington stands out with its moderately dark visual style, which cannot be called overly gloomy. The combination of soil colors, trees, and lighting creates a unique atmosphere of American forests. The locations are diverse, exploring the map is engaging, and it features unique vehicles and clothing sets that were first introduced with this map. These items later appeared on other maps, but at the time of its release, they were exclusive to Washington.

The locations are more detailed, clearly showing how Nelson's map-making skills improved by the time Washington was created. Thus, while PEI was something of a "trial run", Washington represents Nelson's fully realized artistic style. The locations are more varied and fresh, which greatly diversified the game at the time and attracted more players to Unturned.

The map is more oriented toward PvP gameplay, as it’s easy to find weapons, ammunition, and a good fight, especially when playing on a server. A timeless classic that you should definitely try if you haven’t already.

Campgrounds

Locations of all campgrounds on the map

Clearwater Campground

A small campground located in the northern part of the map.
Here, you will find:
  • Three tents
  • Two tables
  • Two piers

Piers at Clearwater Campground

A typical small campground for outdoor enthusiasts—there aren't even any simple cabins here. It might serve as a source of starting loot, but you won’t find a backpack here. Its remote location and relative seclusion make it a calm and rarely visited place. There are two spawn points for land vehicles and two for watercraft.

Camano Campground

A small campground located slightly east of the map's center.
Here, you will find:
  • Two cabins
  • Two piers

Piers at Camano Campground

Another small campground, but this time with cabins. You can find some clothing here, and the rest is typical campground loot. Its proximity to the military convoy and Seattle makes it a slightly more dangerous location, but due to its small size and limited appeal mainly to beginners, it’s still rare to encounter other players here. There are two spawn points for watercraft.

Conclusion

There are only two campgrounds on the map, and they are quite small. Overall, it’s evident that campgrounds were considered minor and mostly unimportant locations at the time of the map’s release. They received little attention, and there’s nothing remarkable about them. They are suitable for finding basic starter loot if you spawn near one. In other cases, players typically don’t bother heading to them.

Still, it’s worth visiting at least once because the areas where these campgrounds are located are very picturesque. They provide a chance to take a break from firefights and clearing out locations—maybe fishing in nature and listening to the birdsong instead. Threat level: very low.

Farms

Locations of all farms on the map

Kennewick Farm

A medium-sized farm located on the western edge of the map.
Here, you will find:
  • A residential house
  • Two barns
  • A utility shed
  • A well
Overall, a picturesque location in an interesting area. The loot here is typical for farms, with clothing found in the house and utility shed. The well provides access to water. Due to its proximity to Seattle and the military base, gunfire and echoes of battles can often be heard nearby. However, the farm itself is not a popular destination as the loot is only suitable for beginners. Two spawn points for farming vehicles.

Shelton Farm

A large farm located east of the map’s center.
Here, you will find:
  • A residential house
  • Two barns
  • A runway
  • A well
  • A water tower
  • A fuel barrel

Shelton Farm's airfield and field

This is a relatively large farm where you can find useful survival items. Clothing can be found in the house, while the airfield yields construction loot. However, what makes this farm stand out is:

A significant amount of drinking water from the well and water tower.
The presence of a fuel barrel.
It is the only location on the map where you can find a Sandpiper (a single-engine airplane).

These factors make the farm notable, often attracting players. Its location along a busy road from Scorpion-7 to Paradise Point adds to its activity. Shelton Farm can even be valuable for late-game players. Two spawn points for land vehicles, one spawn point for the airplane.

Arlington Farm

A medium-sized farm located in the southern part of the map.
Here, you will find:
  • A two-story house
  • A barn
  • Logs under a canopy
  • A fuel barrel
The house contains a decent amount of clothing, and the fuel barrel allows you to refuel vehicles. Other than that, it’s a typical farm. You can find starting loot and possibly a chainsaw. The low importance of this location means you’ll rarely encounter other players here, aside from those passing by or grabbing food and water. Two spawn points for land vehicles.

Conclusion

Farms on Washington are much more useful than campgrounds and might be your best bet early in the game. While farm loot lacks variety, two out of the three farms have fuel barrels, making them excellent refueling points for long road trips. Shelton Farm stands out as the only location on the map with an airplane spawn, adding significant value. Otherwise, these farms are typical and not much different from those on PEI. Threat level: low.

Cities

Location of all cities on the map

Everett

A small town located in the eastern part of the map, near Scorpion-7.
Available here:
  • Post office
  • Supermarket
  • Diner
  • Seed store
  • Café
  • Pizzeria
  • Pharmacy
  • Gun store
  • Four residential houses
You can find plenty of food here since there are three diners in town. The gun store can provide ammunition and even Eaglefire. Two houses with garages contain a small amount of mechanic loot. The pharmacy might be helpful if you need medical supplies. However, this is a rather dangerous place as it is located at a crossroads frequently used by players heading to Scorpion-7. It’s best to stay cautious here. There are five civilian vehicle spawn points and one ambulance spawn point.

Tacoma

A medium-sized town located slightly south of the center of the map.
Available here:
  • Pharmacy
  • Laundromat
  • Fire station
  • Police station
  • Two diners
  • Gas station
  • Five residential houses
The town offers more diverse loot. You can find plenty of clothing in the laundromat, ample food, medical supplies in the pharmacy, and items like fuel cans, welding tools, or tires at the gas station. In the police station, you might find Cobra or Bluntforce if you’re lucky. Overall, it’s quite a useful place due to the variety of loot. The town's location slightly off the main road makes it less visited and relatively safer. There are five civilian vehicle spawn points, two fire truck spawn points, and one each for ambulance and police car spawns.

Seattle

The gem of Washington, the largest and most detailed city on the map. It is located in the center of the map, slightly westward.
Available here:
  • Two police stations
  • Two fire stations
  • Building materials store
  • Clothing store
  • Two pharmacies
  • Hospital
  • School
  • Library
  • Post office
  • Supermarket
  • Four diners
  • Donut shop
  • Bank
  • Gas station
  • Construction site
  • Military camp
  • Seed store
  • Shopping mall
  • Ten residential houses
  • Eight high-rise buildings
  • Gun store
  • Stadium
  • Laundromat
The largest city in Unturned at the time. You can find almost any loot available in the game here.

Residential District
The residential district includes ten houses, a stadium, a school, a library, a police station, and a fire station. The stadium spawns only civilian loot, which is situational. Here, you can find lots of clothing, food, and backpacks at the playground. Players rarely loot this area, so if you avoid getting shot from the crane, it’s relatively safe.

Police Station and Fire Station

The second police station and fire station are located at the opposite end of the city.

A large bridge runs through the city, where loot can also be found. However, driving on it is inconvenient, though possible. The center is mainly commercial buildings with a few high-rises. Unfortunately, in the tallest buildings, only the first floor is accessible; the rest are completely empty. Likely, it was not intended for players to reach these areas. The closer to the center, the more dangerous it gets. Campers often hide in high-rises, but you won’t find good loot there. In residential buildings, you might find food, clothing, and very rarely, Eaglefire. The central gas station is large, and you might find everything you need in one trip. The bank spawns militia loot, but there is only one bank on the map. Again, while the outskirts are relatively safe, the closer you get to the center, the riskier it becomes. You can try hiding in buildings to reach the center or attempt to shoot the sniper on the crane while hiding in the same buildings.

The crane at the construction site is a great spot for snipers as it offers a wide view. You can hide in the cabin in case of danger.

The most interesting loot is located under the bridge in the military camp. There are many places where you can find rare military loot, but caution is essential—first, a Mega Zombie spawns here, and second, this city attracts players like a magnet, leading to some of the most intense battles. The center under the bridge has many objects for cover or climbing, so any advice will be quite subjective. Stay alert, as enemies could appear from behind any corner or fence.

Rare military loot spawn points in the city

In general, Seattle is a very large, interesting, and well-developed city. It immediately comes to mind when thinking of this map. Such a large city felt fresh and engaging back in the day. You’ll always find many players here and good fights. If you decide to loot Seattle, you will find everything you want. However, if you choose to do so, you must be extremely cautious.

The entire city has fourteen civilian vehicle spawn points, nine public transport spawn points, three ambulance spawn points, four fire truck spawn points, four police car spawn points, and one police helicopter spawn point.

Conclusions
The cities on the Washington map are typical and quite useful locations. Two small towns on the eastern part of the map are balanced by the huge Seattle in the center. Overall, no city can be called useless, as you can find something valuable in each one. Seattle stands out from the usual classification of cities because, on this map, it’s not just a city—it’s the main location around which the entire map was created. A point of attraction for all players, a place where you can quickly and easily find any loot, and the main battlefield on the map—this city offers a truly fresh experience in Unturned.

Civil infrastructure

Location of all civilian infrastructure objects on the map

Bellevue Golf Course

A large golf club located in the northern part of the map, occupying most of the upper-left quadrant.
Here are located:
  • Golf club building
  • Covered parking area with vehicles
  • Golf course
While the field itself takes up almost the entire upper-left quadrant, the club is relatively small, featuring just one building and a nearby covered parking area. Civilian loot and a small amount of food spawn inside. On a small island in the center of the lake, there are berry bushes. This location is more decorative than functional since it offers little utility. It has one civilian vehicle spawn point, four golf cart spawns under the shelter, and three golf cart spawns across the field.

Kent Raceway

A large racing track located in the southern part of the map.
Here you can find:
  • Racing track
  • Parking lot
  • Ten grandstands
  • Workshop under a canopy
  • Two fuel barrels
Parking lot near Kent Raceway

This is an unusual location that, unfortunately, feels quite empty. The grandstands contain minimal civilian loot, and the workshop under the canopy spawns construction loot instead of mechanic loot, which might have been expected. However, two unique features set this location apart: the spawn points for unique race cars and a blimp. There are also two fuel barrels for refueling if you're passing by. It has six race car spawn points, one blimp spawn point, and three civilian vehicle spawn points.

Conclusions

There aren't many civilian infrastructure objects on the Washington map. They seem intriguing at first glance but offer limited gameplay value. For instance, the golf club looks impressive and occupies a lot of space, but most of it is just empty, flat terrain (except for a few interesting spots). Similarly, Kent Raceway isn’t a location you’re likely to visit frequently due to its limited loot diversity. The odd choice of loot (construction instead of mechanic) further diminishes its utility.

However, these locations are undeniably cool from a visual perspective, offering something fresh compared to earlier maps. While they might not be practical for looting, they are worth exploring at least once for the experience.

Militia

Location of all militia objects on the map

Heritage Valley

A small militia location situated at the northwestern edge of the map.
Here you can find:
  • Residential house
  • Warehouse
  • Cargo containers
  • Tower
  • Pier
  • Two fuel barrels
  • Water tower
This is one of the few militia locations on Washington. The loot here is varied. It resembles a similar location on PEI, but with less loot. Inside the house, you can find clothing, food, and mechanic loot. Containers and trash bins contain construction loot, while the warehouse and tower spawn ranger loot. This spot is not frequently visited, but you might occasionally encounter players here. It's also a popular base-building area, so stay vigilant. The two fuel barrels allow for vehicle refueling, and the water tower provides hydration. Without a generator to open the gate, small vehicles can still pass through a gap in the fence. There is one water vehicle spawn point at the pier.

Heritage Valley pier

Sunken Submarine

A small hidden location east of the map's center.
Here you can find:
  • Sunken submarine
This is a reference to the Beatles (Yellow Submarine). Ranger loot spawns here in decent quantities, though accessing it requires an upgraded diving skill. Players rarely visit this spot, but if you're lucky, you can find some good weapons. No vehicle spawns are present.

Aerial view of the submarine location

Radio Tower 1

A small unmarked location in the forest south of Tacoma.
Here you can find:
  • Radio tower
This is a standard radio tower continuing the tradition from PEI. Similar towers can be found on other maps as well. Six ranger loot spawn points are present.

Radio Tower 2

A small unmarked location in the forest south of Clearwater Campground.
Here you can find:
  • Radio tower
Identical to the previous tower. Six ranger loot spawn points are present, along with four berry bushes at the base of the tower.

Conclusions

Militia locations on Washington are more abundant than on PEI, making it easier to acquire ranger gear. However, the spawn rates for weapons are inconsistent, often mixed with bandanas, balaclavas, and other less desirable items. While finding the exact weapon or sufficient ammunition may take time, playing with ranger gear is a viable option.

Militia locations are scattered across the map, with the added advantage that most players rarely visit them. The bank in Seattle was excluded from this section as it is part of a larger location. However, if you’re focusing on ranger loot, it’s worth visiting.

Technically, there is a third radio tower on the map, but it is part of a larger location and thus not listed here separately. Additionally, Scorpion-7 contains a small amount of ranger loot.

Miscellaneous

Locations of unique points of interest on the map

Rainbridge Island

A small island that supports the bridge, located at the center of the map.
Here you can find:
  • Bridge
  • Broken cars
  • Seven berry bushes
  • Washing machine
An unusual location, especially given that it’s marked and has its own name. Loot here is minimal: a small amount of civilian loot in the broken cars and a single ranger loot spawn point inside the washing machine near the end of the bridge, heading toward Seattle. If you fall off the bridge, you can climb back up using the broken cars.

On the island below, you’ll find seven berry bushes containing all berry types available in the game. This makes the location unique and potentially useful in certain scenarios.

Broken cars on the bridge

Puget Sound

Puget Sound is a system of inlets in Washington State. It’s a vast area with a unique ecosystem and significant regional importance, which is why it’s marked as a location. Beyond this, there’s no loot here, and the label applies to all water on the Washington map, not just the point where the name appears.

On an island technically part of the Puget Sound system, you’ll find three additional berry bushes.

One of the islands in the Puget Sound system

Conclusions

These locations don’t fit into other categories, so they are listed separately. There’s not much to say about them—they are primarily decorative locations that enhance the map’s atmosphere. Loot is scarce, with berries being the only notable resource found in both locations.

Scorpion-7

Locations of all Scorpion-7-related areas on the map

Scorpion-7

A large research facility located in the eastern part of the map.
Here you can find:
  • Radio tower
  • Cargo containers
  • Damaged military vehicles
  • Two fuel barrels
  • Research complex
This unique location introduces the Scorpion-7 loot, including medical supplies (pills, vitamins, chemicals), the Viper SMG, its ammunition, and the distinctive Biohazard outfit. The area features a research facility with an underground level.

The radio tower contains ranger loot.
Containers hold construction materials.
The facility’s entrance has food spawns, while inside you’ll find chemicals, pills, and occasionally a Viper.
The shooting range room houses the unique Shadowstalker weapon, and another spawn point for it or its ammo is hidden under a wooden pallet in the entrance area.
Two fuel barrels are located at the helipad, making this spot practical for refueling. Scorpion-7's unique design, underground exploration, and its ties to the lore make it one of the map's most memorable locations. Due to its exclusivity as a Shadowstalker source, it’s often visited by players.

Two military vehicle spawn points are also present.

Shadowstalker spawn point

UFO

A small unmarked location on the northern edge of the map, near the golf course.
Here you can find:
  • Crane
  • UFO
This fascinating unmarked location is easy to find and is the map’s only Deadzone. Prepare with a filter and gas mask if you intend to visit. Scorpion-7's abandoned excavation site still hosts hostile remnants of their experiments—exploding zombies.

The main draw here is the Shadowstalker spawns; otherwise, there’s little loot. Due to the radiated environment, it’s rarely visited by players, making it a decent spot to farm or even create a hidden stash atop the crane.

Crane at the UFO excavation site

Conclusions

Scorpion-7 is more than just a couple of locations; it’s a symbol of Unturned, inspiring lore discussions and community theories to this day. These locations were placed in a separate section due to their uniqueness and their importance to the game’s narrative.

Loot here is situational—pills, vitamins, and chemicals are not always essential, and aside from the Viper, you won’t find much weaponry. The Shadowstalker is unique but not the map’s strongest weapon.

Despite the scarcity of these locations (only two) and the Deadzone aspect, Scorpion-7 marks the start of Unturned's narrative evolution, setting the stage for similar organizations and lore elements on other maps.

Military facilities

Locations of all military sites on the map

Olympia Military Base

A large military base located in the western part of the map.
Here you can find:
  • Checkpoint
  • Two barracks
  • Two tents
  • Four towers
  • Helipad
  • Shooting range
  • Two fuel barrels

This is a hotspot for players due to its proximity to Seattle and Heritage Valley. It offers a substantial amount of military loot, two fuel barrels, and a chance to encounter a Mega Zombie.

The most valuable loot can be found in open cases and lockers in the barracks, as well as one case at the shooting range.
The base’s walls have no breaches, making access only possible through the gates. You’ll need a generator to open the barriers if you want to take out vehicles.
Interestingly, while it has fewer rare military loot spawns than Seattle (7 vs. 8), Olympia has better chances for finding weapons and ammo. It’s also the only place on the map where a military helicopter spawns.

Four military vehicle spawns and one helicopter spawn point are located here.

Rare military loot spawn points

Paradise Point

Located in the southeast, this military base served as an evacuation point.
Here you can find:
  • Four towers
  • Hangar
  • Three military tents
  • Medical tent
  • Cargo containers
  • Helipad
  • Two fuel barrels

Paradise Point features a wide variety of loot:

Military gear in the tents.
Medical supplies in the medical tent.
Construction materials in the containers.
Clothing in the hangar.
The base has two rare military loot spawn points. While double fences surround the area, breaches make it easier to access. You’ll need to lift barriers if transporting vehicles.

Two military vehicles, an ambulance, a fire truck, and a police car spawn here. However, helicopters do not spawn at this location.

Rare military loot spawn point

Northeast Tunnel

A small military checkpoint near a collapsed tunnel. Blocks the exit from the map. Located in the northeastern corner of the map.
Here you can find:
  • Collapsed tunnel
  • Tower
  • Broken truck
A typical location, one of three identical ones on the map. All three are unsigned. Specifically, this tunnel features five rare military loot spawn points (three in the truck bed and two in a case under the tower), which is even more than at Paradise Point and only slightly less than at Olympia Military Base. Two military vehicle spawn points and one civilian vehicle spawn point.

South Tunnel

A small military checkpoint near a collapsed tunnel. Blocks the exit from the map. Located in the southern part of the map.
Here you can find:
  • Collapsed tunnel
  • Tower
  • Broken jeep
An identical layout to the Northeast Tunnel. Two rare loot spawn points in a case, two military vehicle spawn points, and one civilian vehicle spawn point.

West Tunnel

A small military checkpoint near a collapsed tunnel. Blocks the exit from the map. Located in the western part of the map.
Here you can find:
  • Collapsed tunnel
  • Two towers
  • Broken APC
Identical to the previous tunnels. Two rare loot spawn points in a case, two military vehicle spawn points, and one civilian vehicle spawn point.

Military Convoy

A small military location in the center of the map, east of Seattle.
Here you can find:
  • Six broken military vehicles
Contains an average amount of military loot. The truck bed has three rare loot spawn points. No vehicle spawns.

Military Convoy

A small military location in the southern part of the map near Tacoma and Kent Raceway.
Here you can find:
  • Five broken military vehicles
Contains an average amount of military loot. The truck bed has three rare loot spawn points. No vehicle spawns.

Crashed Helicopter

A small military location in the northwest corner of the map, on the golf course.
Here you can find:
  • Crashed helicopter
A hidden location with a small amount of military loot. Two rare loot spawn points in an open case. One of three places on the map where a Mega Zombie spawns. No vehicle spawn points.

Conclusions

Military locations on Washington are diverse and plentiful. Military bases are the easiest and fastest way to find the loot you need. However, if you're looking for rare military loot, there are plenty of options. While Seattle is not strictly a military location, it has a significant amount of military loot and numerous rare loot spawn points.

Considering the abundance of military sites, finding such loot is not particularly difficult. Each part of the map has military objects and locations. Players are mainly found at larger bases or where rare loot is more accessible, but early-stage players can be encountered in almost any military location. It’s clear that you need to be cautious and prepared for combat in these areas.

If you want to avoid fights, smaller locations like tunnels, convoys, or the crashed helicopter offer safer looting opportunities with a lower chance of encountering players. The map’s PvP-oriented design is evident when analyzing military locations. Combined, this creates a fresh and engaging experience, adding a new dimension to gameplay.

Achievements

On Washington, there is only one achievement, and it is awarded for entering the map for the first time.

Secrets

On Washington, there are no secrets like those on PEI. The most you can consider as secrets on this map are a couple of unsigned locations that are hard to find. All of these locations and places have already been described in other sections, so this information will not be repeated here. Locations that can be considered secrets will be marked on the Secret Map. (See the "Maps" section)

Notes

There are only eight notes on the Washington map, located in various spots. This section shows the exact locations of the notes within the areas and their texts. To view the precise locations of the notes on the map, refer to the Secret Map (see the "Maps" section). Please note that the descriptions of the notes do not claim to be exact transcriptions of the note texts—they are simply concise summaries of the main points. To fully understand the story and enjoy the atmosphere, it is recommended to follow this guide and read the notes yourself.

Notes at Olympia Military Base

There are two notes at the military base, located in one of the two large barracks. They are hard to miss if you're simply looting—you’ll find them.

Location and text of the first note

This is a request from an army general addressed to Area 51. It asks for information about a certain Polysol Federtion.

Location and text of the second note

The second note is a key to a cipher.

Note from the Military Convoy

There is also a note in the wrecked military convoy to the east of Seattle. It’s inside a destroyed APC.

Location and text of the note

This is the very message that needs to be decrypted using the key. It is believed to contain encrypted data from Area 51 regarding the Polysol Federtion. To date, many active community members have tried to decrypt the message using various websites, but without success. Either a much more complex cipher is used (which is very unlikely), or the message simply doesn’t make sense, and the text was written randomly to create an atmosphere of secrecy. In any case, the authors of this guide have not gathered further information, so perhaps you’ll be the one to decipher it.

Notes at Scorpion-7

Two notes can be found in one location here— the first one is inside the wrecked APC near the entrance to Scorpion-7.

Location and text of the first note

This is simply an order for the division to capture the research complex and a warning that the guys at Scorpion-7 are seriously armed. This likely refers to their possession of Shadowstalker weapons.

Location and text of the second note

A regretful note from a former Scorpion-7 employee about what they did while developing biological weapons. It is found on the desk in the second room from the entrance. It’s hard to miss.

Note from the UFO

There is a note near the crashed UFO in the Dead Zone. It’s an alien report from which it can be inferred that they were researching Earth and monitoring humanity.

Location and text of the note

Note in Everett

There is a note on a table in the diner in the town of Everett.

Location and text of the note

This is an investigative report from a journalist about the harmful effects of fast food from the Big J company.

Note in the School

The last note is found in the school in the city of Seattle.

Location and text of the note

This note references one from the PEI map. A family was forcibly evicted from their farm, their memories erased, and their brains washed. They were relocated to Tignish Farm on PEI.

Unique transport

Let's clarify right away that unique vehicles do not necessarily appear only on a single map. In this guide, vehicles categorized as unique are those that first appeared on this map.

On Washington, there are nine unique vehicles. Six of them are simply military vehicles repainted in the colors of the map. Such repainted vehicles will be found on nearly every map thereafter.

Desert Offroader

Standard military jeep with an open top.
Max Speed - 55 km/h
Trunk Size - 20 (5x4)
Capacity - 4 people
Unarmored
Spawns at military locations

Desert Armored Offroader

Armored military jeep with a closed roof.
Max Speed - 60 km/h
Trunk Size - 30 (6x5)
Capacity - 4 people
Armored
Spawns at military locations

Desert Ural

Military truck.
Max Speed - 65 km/h
Trunk Size - 30 (6x5)
Capacity - 8 people
Unarmored
Spawns at military locations

Desert APC

APC, can swim.
Max Speed - 58 km/h
Trunk Size - 35 (7x5)
Capacity - 8 people
Armored
Spawns at military locations

Desert Tank

Standard tank in desert colors.
Max Speed - 36 km/h
Trunk Size - 36 (6x6)
Capacity - 2 people
Armored
Spawns at military locations

Desert Transport Heli

Standard military helicopter in desert colors.
Max Speed - 72 km/h
Trunk Size - 30 (6x5)
Capacity - 4 people
Armored
Spawns only at Olympia Military Base

Golfcart

An unusual vehicle found only on Washington (among all official maps). Due to its extremely poor stats, it’s unlikely to be considered serious transport. It was probably added just for atmosphere and to fill the golf course.
Max Speed - 45 km/h
Trunk Size - 8 (4x2)
Capacity - 2 people
Unarmored
Spawns only at Bellevue Golf Course

Racecar

Another completely unique vehicle for Washington, found only here. Very fast but only accommodates one person, has no trunk, and is very fragile. It can be used for quick map traversal, but not for long expeditions or raids.
Max Speed - 122 km/h
Trunk Size - 0 (None)
Capacity - 1 person
Unarmored
Spawns only at Kent Raceway

Blimp

First appeared on Washington, although it can be found on other maps as well. Very large and noticeable. The controls make it difficult to destroy, but you also won’t be able to fly it very fast. An extremely unusual vehicle, likely added for fun.
Max Speed - 53 km/h
Trunk Size - 35 (7x5)
Capacity - 5 people
Unarmored
Spawns only at Kent Raceway

Conclusion

In terms of truly unique vehicles, Washington only offers three, not counting the military vehicles that duplicate those from PEI, which we’ll see again on future maps. The unique vehicles here are unusual and hard to find practical uses for. While the Golfcart is practically useless, the blimp and racecar can be somewhat enjoyable to use. It's clear these vehicles were added to diversify the gameplay and enhance certain locations, but their gameplay utility or practicality wasn’t a top priority during development. These vehicles should be viewed more as part of the environment at their spawn locations rather than functional transport. However, if you decide to play on Washington, you should definitely try riding these at least once.

General conclusion

Overall, Washington is an old map. The content of this guide, while written with care, is unlikely to be a big revelation for those who have played the map for even just a handful of hours. In terms of the map itself, it's still quite good even by today's standards. Dozens of servers still play Washington, even though there are no quests, interesting mechanics, or anything like that. It’s a simple, yet detailed and atmospheric map that, at the time of its release, was a driving force for Unturned's growth and attracted more players. When this map was released, it was a breath of fresh air—new setting, new locations, new weapons, and vehicles. The large number of military locations and the ease with which you can find weapons make it clear that Washington is more about PvP. However, even if you're not playing on servers but are looking for a map that has long been a classic in Unturned, this is the one to go for. It doesn’t get boring quickly, even if you’re playing in single-player mode. Even after modern maps with tons of new mechanics, you can still enjoy a few days of gameplay here. For a classic map, especially one of medium size, that’s a pretty good result. You can tell how much Nelson’s skills had improved by the time he made Washington—it plays better and doesn’t get old as fast as PEI. So, whether you’re looking to relive old memories or you’ve never played this map before—you should definitely do so right now. Our humble guide is here to be your trusty companion in that adventure.
