Guide to Bussin' Fruits~

Addicted to this game, so I'm gonna write a guide? I also made a table for all the combination bonuses for ingredients because I am crazy. So do check it out I guess :)

Introduction

This guide is still being updated and compiled so it might be messy in between!
Honestly not sure if I will ever continue doing/updating this guide, blame my brain for having the attention span of a jellyfish :|


Currently what I think needs spoilers:

• Anything that reveals any solution to a puzzle in the game

Everything else have not been hidden, so you have been warned!

All Ingredients

There are a total of 20 ingredients in Fruitbus.

I have divided the ingredients into the 3 sections according to when they are introduced!
Each region has an ingredient that is 'rare'.
Those ingredients are highlighted with a red star in the table below.



Tips

• Some fruits are easier to find and get than others.
  E.g. On Banamas, apples and bananas are abundant around the island whereas you have to wait for volcano activity to get chilis.
  
• Fruits on bushes are easily gotten whereas fruits on trees might require some parkour or a fruit fetcher. The fruit fetcher can be bought at the store at Sorello.

All Menu Items

There are a total of 6 different menu items.

As you progress through the game, you unlock new kitchen tools and appliances that you'd need for new menu items!



Tips

• To make bread, you need to head over to the Windmill located on Breezy Bay Island. You have to pick Wheat using a Sickle & grind it into Flour at the Windmill.
  
• Make Croutons by taking a slice of bread, toasting it in the oven & slice it up!

Banamas

Ingredients

There are a total of 8 ingredients you can find around Banamas.

There are 2 dishes you can make.

• Salad
  Needs Knife & Bowl
  
• Smoothie
  Needs Blender, Blender Jug & Cup

Tips

• Quests asking you to look for items require a shovel.Look for dirt piles on the ground and dig it up.

Breezy Bay

To get to Breezy Bay, you need $500 for the one-time ferry toll.

Ingredients

There are a total of 10 ingredients you can find around Breezy Bay. You can now find Wheat & grind it into Flour to bake Bread.



Breezy Bay also introduces Wheat for baking bread.It is located at the Windmill, you need a Sickle to collect them. After collecting the wheat, you have to grind them in the mill

  Needs Oven, Frying Pan, Spatula & Bowl

Price = ingredient + type of dish bonus + combination bonuses + base price

Helpful Tips

• When dishes emits blue smoke, press 'F' to taste the dish! The flashback it triggers usually contains a hint at the end for a quest!
  
  If you wish to rewatch the hint, simply open your Journal and look for the NPC who told you about the dish. Hit 'R' to rewatch the flashback.
  
  
• To look for the pink stars located around the island, look out for the audio clues!
  The closer you are to the star, the louder the jingle!
  
  
• If you are bugged or hard stuck due to bugs in the game, do join the Discord server, it helps a lot and the devs are very responsive! The Discord invite link is pinned in the discussions!
  
  
• You can cut ingredients while holding it.
  I find that it's faster to just cut & drop ingredients. Also because fruits seem to keep rolling around even when the fruitbus is not moving.
  
  
• Fixing the Radio Tower helps you get announcements when there is volcano activity on Banamas.

Totally took a break from this guide because my adhd got the better of me. It seems like the map for Frosty Pines and Banamas is missing for some reason :|

You forgot to include a map for Banamas and Frosty Pines

Important: DO NOT dig up quest items such as the lucky coin or banana topper before reaching their parts in the quest. You will effectively soft lock the quest. Learned this the hard way!

there is garlic in top of the mountains of Sorello (in the opposite direction to the jungle)

There's a mushroom available in Clifftown, by the way. It's on a rooftop only reachable from the dark-green grassy area above town.
