Description
Rise and shine for just another HL2-esque adventure!

Anyways, this is an old and obscure custom HL2 campaign mod, which does not have a recorded original download link (as far as I know), and I just put it up here in Steam Workshop for archival purposes. For that, I cannot find any walkthrough videos of it. This means that whenever you feel stuck, don't feel bad using noclip. Also, if anyone can provide a walkthrough video of this campaign to me, let me know.

WARNING: I am an amateur, casual GModder, since I have only very basic to no knowledge of Hammer and no knowledge at all on how to use VSIF2VCD, which means that this campaign is by no means perfect and has flaws here and there. This would affect your overall experience with it, but it shouldn't stop you from completing it. Any feedback is appreciated.

WARNING #2: The third map, next_03, has cubemap issues where some textures would appear too bright, which can be distracting. This can be fixed by disabling mat_specular.

WARNING #3: The second map (next_02) has level transition issues, where sometimes if you load that map, it may immediately lead to the level transition to the third map. I know that this campaign is not mine (which I’ll explain later on), but I attempted to address this problem to the best of my ability (just like how I did fix the spawn points of the first and third map), considering my little experience in using Hammer (that tool is necessary for me to modify the map files, which I need to convert them into .vcd files, modify them, and convert them back to the .bsp files). I failed, because while compiling the .vcd file of the second map into the .bsp file, it broke its lighting in the process, which is something that is way beyond my knowledge for me to fix. In other words, I currently cannot fix the second map's spawning issue, sorry. For now, however, this issue can be avoided if you play through the maps from the first map and using only level transitions to move to the next map instead of manually loading the latter.

DISCLAIMER: This custom campaign has only been tested in sandbox singleplayer, with the only mods being tested with this map are explosion replacer, MMOD HL2 weapon replacements, ARC9/MWB/TFA/TacRP SWEPs, Combine Soldier model replacements, VManip addons, and HUD addons. I'm sorry to say this, but I cannot guarantee the campaign's stability if you use more complex addons (such as the ones that alter NPC's AI) and/or some old SWEPs, along with playing it in multiplayer.

DISCLAIMER #2: This custom HL2 campaign is not mine, as I laid out its original information in the lower part of this description. If the original author wants me to take it down, I'll do so.

REQUIREMENTS:
Half-Life 2

This campaign consists of 4 maps in the "Other" category, and they go in order as shown below:
next_01
next_02

@HolyWeaponOfGod The PM I played as in the screenshots used to have c_hands for the workshop, but they are not there anymore. Thankfully, I have archived the version with c_hands, but I do not know whether I want to reupload it or not, since it was not mine.

I fixed the spawn points for the third map. It is a little dark in the staircases during the beginning of that map (considering my little experience of using Hammer), but it should work fine, and its cubemap issue is somehow fixed. Like I said before, I attempted to fix the spawn points for the second map, but I accidentally broke the map’s lighting in the process, something that is way beyond my knowledge to fix it. In other words, I am unable to fix the second map.

Besides, the spawning bug that immediately transitions the player to the next level was there on the first, second, and third maps to begin with when I downloaded it from archive.org , so it is not necessarily my fault, but rather the fault of the campaign's unknown original creator. Anyways, I am deeply sorry to the users of this campaign mod about this debacle.

Hopefully, the next custom HL2 campaign maps I will port should not have as much problems as this campaign mod...

UPDATE: Since I have little experience in Hammer-ing, while I was trying to convert the .vmf file I edited (by removing the spawn point that triggers the transition to the third map) back to the .bsp file, I accidentally broke the map’s lighting in the process. This is something that is way beyond my knowledge to fix it, which means that fixing the second map by removing the spawn point is way harder than I expected it to be. I am really sorry for this inconvenience.
As for the third map, I also attempted to fix it by removing the spawn point that triggers the transition to the next map. So far, the lighting for the map is not broken, but it seemingly somehow fixed its cubemap issues. I am currently verifying the third map.

For other users of this campaign addon, I added a warning about the issue with level transitions.

@SENHOR_MR_M What bugs, aside from the map loading issue that leads you to a different map than expected or cubemap issues? I am planning to address the former when I have the time, since I am currently busy with college, and the latter can be fixed by disabling mat_specular.

Managed to get Map 3 to load eventually. Hard to say what my thoughts are on these maps considering the issue that I've been having with them. It's unfortunate when an otherwise inoffensive set of maps gets ruined by such odd issues.

@Talon I'm sorry to hear that. I have only fixed map 1, and I haven't even started to fix maps 2 and 3. I am planning on addessing this issue, but please be aware that I am a casual modder who is busy with college. Thank you for your patience.

So... what you ever did in Hammer didn't work. Loading into Map 2 manually still (sometimes) loads into Map 3 and loading Map 3 manually (sometimes) loads into Map 4.

At this point, I'm giving up on this map... unless I ever grab Lambda again in the hopes that it does work with this map. It does sometimes not work with some maps.
