Special Infected Spawner

Description
This mod works only on localhost and dedicated servers.

This mod spawns special infected based on host settings. The host can set how many special infected can be spawned(the limit has hard cap, despite ridiculous value such as 50), how frequently they will spawn, how much health they will have, etc.
The host can also set how many tanks will appear in each chapter. The number of tanks is calculated based on the distance survivors have made from the starting point.

You can find the mod settings inside the Left4Dead2 game directory. Look for the ems folder > evericemod > si_spawner_setting.cfg
Open this file with any text editor, such as Notepad.NOTE: If you see Chinese letters, you may need to use Notepad++ instead.

Mod Settings
Inside cfg file, there will be these settings with default value.
  • Multi_Tanks_Spawn_Limit: How many tanks will there be in each chapter.

  • Max_Special_Infected: How many special infected can be spawned.

  • Special_Respawn_Interval_Max: The max timer for special infected respawn.

  • Special_Respawn_Interval_Min: The minimum timer for special infected to respawn.

  • Special_Infected_Health_Mult: Special infected health multiply by this value.

  • Special_Infected_Health_Mult_Per_Survivor: Special infected health is multiplied by this value for each alive survivor.

  • Special_Health_Mult_Tank_Only: Only Tank can get health multiply. put 0 to apply health multiply to every special infected.

If you changed a lot and forgot the default value, just delete the file or setting line that you want to reset
NOTE:
- You can set Max_Special_Infected to -1 to spawn special infected based on the number of alive survivors.

- You cannot put Special_Respawn_Interval_Max lower than Min value, script will change the value to the same as Min automatically.

- Special_Infected_Health_Mult_Per_Survivor will only work when you set Special_Infected_Health_Mult to -1. The default value is set to 0.01, meaning that health is multiplied by 1% of the maximum health.If set to 1.0, it will have 100% more health(100 + 100 = 200 hp).

- Set Special_Infected_Health_Mult to -1 to automatically adjust health based on the number of alive survivors. The multiplier value is calculated by the Special_Infected_Health_Mult_Per_Survivor setting.

- Multi_Tanks_Spawn_Limit This setting spawns tanks based on the value you put. Tanks spawn according to the distance from the starting point. For example, if you set the value to 2, there will be 2 tanks in each chapter. the first tank will spawn after the survivors reach 50% of the total distance, and the second tank will spawn at 90%. If you set it to 5, a tank will spawn every 20% of distance from the starting point.

This mod is not creating the "si_spawner_setting.cfg" file on my computer.

I'm having some issues with this mod. While waiting for friends to connect to the server, special infected start spawning before leaving the safe room, which shouldn't happen. This also occurs when we switch maps and are still waiting for players to reconnect — specials show up even before anyone exits the safe room and before starting rescue events (like pressing the finale button).
It also happens during the Whitaker gun store event — while waiting for the door to open, specials start spawning just like in Versus mode.
Would appreciate any help or fix!

mod has function to check if the spawn point has any survivor in radius. if it spawned next to survivor, probably it couldn't find available spot(bad nav)

i love more zombos so i can kill them all yesyes. i have an issue tho, SI spawn right next to me idk if this is intended or not
