To begin with, you must go through the story island "vasagatan" - this is the second story island, which goes immediately after the "radio tower", in Vasagatan on the liner you will find drawings of the engine and steering wheel.

Crafting the steering wheel and motor is painfully simple, you will only need: junk, ropes, boards, bolts, hinges, iron ingots and microchips.

how many motors do I need for my raft?

1 motor = 100 foundations
The foundation is one board on the floor









How do you know how many foundations you have?
of course you can count them manually, but there is a special device - the foundation counter. It can be bought on large islands in a shop for 3 pre-packed garbage + 4 coins. It is located on the second level of the store.











The whole scheme works like this:
from 0 to 100 foundations = 1 motor
from 100 to 200 foundations = 2 motors
from 200 to 300 foundations = 3 motors
from 300 to 400 foundations = 4 motors
from 400 to 500 foundations = 5 motors
from 500 to 600 foundations = 6 motors

STEERING WHEEL
We install the steering wheel in any place convenient for you. One steering wheel is enough for you for any number of engines.

THE MOTOR
To install the motor, cut down 3 foundations (vertically or horizontally, in a row).
After that, you can safely put the engine on and it will not burn red

The motor has three active areas. There are two levers that you can interact with.


In the center - change the direction of the wheel, and therefore the direction of movement (forward - backward).
On the right - turn the engine on or off.
There is also an area on the left for the furnace, where you can throw boards or biofuels

how to refuel the engines?

The motors can be refueled with PLANKS or BIOFUEL



WOOD BOARDS
Boards are the simplest consumables for motors. But it is very expensive.
1 motor = 20 boards
That is, if you have 10 motors, you need 200 boards ☹
20 boards are enough for about 9-10 minutes of real time.

BIOFUELS
Biofuels are a more complicated way. You will be able to use biofuels only after completing the 3rd story island "Balboa" - there you will find a drawing of a biofuel cleaner that will help you craft biofuels. Biofuels can also be found on other islands.

Biofuel Cleaner:
We throw honey and food into it (any kind, for example: potatoes, beets, etc.)

1 can of biofuel = 1 motor
1 can of biofuel is enough for 9-10 minutes of real time

WHY are the engines stalling and the raft is not floating?

Motors can slip for several reasons:

• You have put an insufficient number of motors on the size of your raft. Re-read the section "How many motors do I need for my raft?"
  
  
• You haven'T refueled the motors with planks or biofuels. Re-read the section "How to refuel engines?"
  
  
• Perhaps you forgot to close the sail. The raft will not float on motors if the sail is open.
  
  
  
• Perhaps you have dropped the anchor. Pick him up
  
  
• There is a bug with motors in the raft, maybe you should remove the motor and put it back on.
