Description
Finally, the whole world is included in the map !

Based on XIXth century maps like Stanford's, the mod pushes the edge northward to include Siberia and all discovered lands around 1836. Now features all lands from 80°N to 60°S.

On top of that, it features many new rivers, a fully redrawn heightmap, landcover and city locations according to NASA data.
It also corrects some naval nodes issues where I felt it necessary (Alaska...) as well as historical railway lines.

Mod is still being developed (some graphics may need polishing) but is fully playable
Savegame compatible

Features
- fully redrawn heightmap using NASA data
- fully redrawn rivers using GIS data
- locations fixed according to real world positioning
- roads and railways splines added according to historical and potential development (Transsiberian, european WWI railways, US conquest of the West, etc)
- fully redrawn terrain according to NASA landcover
- fully redrawn forests, farmlands etc according to real world distribution (all 20th century arable lands can now be represented, granted enough resource buildings are developed)

No province has been added to maximize savegame compatibility with vanilla. This should work properly on any previously started game.

Important Note to Users
Due to the increasead detail (heightmap and quantity/density of trees), I recommand setting the "objects" settings to low or medium depending on your computer if you are experiencing any lag.

To do list
- polish map textures in Sahara, Arabia and Central Asia, and mountains
- fix nodes and city locations in some places

(Note to modders : Please ask me if you want to reuse it before doing so, this mod required hundred of hours of development)

@Feliz.

Superb work.

No. I have considered it but this is way too much work to manually replace all rivers and cities for every state.
I have started a Gall stereographic projection mod for future EUV, but not for Vic3.

Have you considered modifying the map's dimensions as well to make them more realistic? Africa is much larger than how it's represented in the Vanilla map, and in general, all the proportions are incorrect.

Update done. I fixed many city locations according to NASA positions, and reworked the node system to feature many historical railways (transsiberian now passes through historical cities).
Fixed Siberia and Alaska which were total Paradox nonsense.
Fixed India which was partly broken with patch 1.8

Thanks. I'm planning a new update of the heightmap to fix this with slightly less exagerated relief

Some city models on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau or other mountainous areas look too strange. Maybe move them to flatter ground or change the terrain to make them look more harmonious.🥲
