[2024] Rust | Boost FPS

This guide is about how to increase your FPS in Rust (with launch options).

1. [Basic] Launch options Rust

1. Go to your Steam library

2. Right-click on “Rust”, in the window that appears click on “Properties”; and enter this value in “Launch options”:

• -high -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -gc.buffer 2048 -effects.maxgibs -1 -sss.enable 0 -maxfishdistance 0 -maxfishpertype 0 -hitnotify.notification_level 2 -malloc=system -graphics.lodbias 0.53 -bordeless -effects.maxgibdist -1

2. [Addition] Launch options value

-high - High game priority.

-USEALLAVAILABLECORES - Use all available CPU cores.

-gc.buffer 2048 - Increase buffer size to 2048 MB.

-effects.maxgibs -1 - Disable destruction effects.

-sss.enable 0 - Disable the effect of subsurface light scattering (Subsurface 
Scattering).

-maxfishdistance 0 - Disable fish display.

-maxfishpertype 0 - Disable fish spawning in the game.

-hitnotify.notification_level 2 - Switch damage synchronization completely to server.

-malloc=system - Use system memory allocation.

-graphics.lodbias 0.53 - Adjusts the level of texture detail, improving graphics quality.

-bordeless - Run in windowed mode without frames.

-effects.maxgibdist -1 - Disable the distance limit on destruction effects.
